When strikers are struggling to score goals (a cause for concern at the Lane in recent years), people often say something along the lines of ‘He just needs one to go in off his backside, and the goals will follow’. Ndiaye scored a perfect backside goal v Blackburn, and it did not take long for him then to score a truly great goal. But was it his first goal that was truly exceptional? I can’t think of any other goal scored by a United player with his backside. Any recollections? (And no references to Anel, please
)
