What if we buy now and pay later? Perhaps in the year 2030.

When we sell players the club use the "It's unfair to stand in his way" card

Maybe we can use this one on Liverpool.
I wonder what they'll say ?

500K to 1M could still be a bargain IMo especially if he helps us win promotion & then does well in the Champ.

We should be in the driving seat & if it was me i would be offering heavily performance based deals to both Liverpool & Coady

Maybe something like:-

Liverpool 500K upfront
300K on promotion
100k for PFA team of the season
10-20% sell on clause
£7m buy back price

Coady
5-8K per week
2k goal bonus
2K assist bonus
1K appearance bonus
5% of sell on fee
£100K on promotion
£25k on PFA team of the season
I know nothing about player's salary packages, so is this realistic? If it is, it's no wonder players celebrate like they do when they score!!

If we did sign him for £800-1m and we go up and he looks comfortable in the championship, Coady's value will double, treble at least, personally I think he's worth investing in
Totally agree, its a no brainer,we know what to expect from him and he will deliver.

We have maguire who's 21 years old and rated at roughly 3-4million for a centre back in league1,why can't coady be worth double that in a couple of years time,as proper central midfielders are usually worth their weight in gold

No brainer, because he'll never be this cheap after next season, only trouble would be hanging onto him..

Read a few negative comments about his early performances, come on lads n lasses, you knew who was to blame for all our new players flopping and as soon as he was gone, the rest is history..

Coady is worth 10-15 goals in the coming season, look how he was getting into the box in the last ten games..

As ever, let's see if we actually have the money, or if its all bluff..

He's one of the best fish that we can catch with our nets!

The lad just got better and better. His performance in the last match against Coventry was a demonstration of what he can do. As a central midfielder, there isn't much missing from his game and he will only improve, especially under NC's guidance. He's going to be an outstanding player (hopefully for us) in the years to come.
He would a player who you could confidently pencil in for the championship.
