18 x 3 = 54
But they're on minus 7, so the most they can get is 47

On a 3 points for a win basis, lowest points total ever in English football would be 9 achieved by Loughborough in Division 2 in 1899-1900 (1 win 6 draws from 34 games).

On a PPG basis thats 0.26 points a game, so to beat that Wednesday would get to get 13 points. Which means 6 wins and 2 draws from their remaining 18.

I can't see it happening.

Unless we have a huge run of injuries, we'll most likely win enough home games to get to 60 ish points

We won’t go up we won’t go down … wasted season with no progression at all.
Would have settled for that in October to be fair, although was uncertain going into the season as to expectations, I am happy enough in the Championship to be honest I am a bit disappointed that we didn’t do better in the cups. Although I always want us to do better, the Premier League is just too stressful full of corrupt officials and biases we aren’t fashionable enough for that league, get called out on MOTD for “not spending enough” and far too much money involved and demand for tickets that causes reselling.

Isn’t the Championship brilliant?

We are simultaneously in a relegation and promotion fight, with 18 games to go.

How mad is that?

6 points above the drop. Yet get another morale boosting victory this coming weekend and follow it up with winning our game in hand and Play Off talk is bound to ramp up.

Have a couple of shockers and we’ll be eyeing the list of historical “too good to go down” teams.

As a famous poster once said “is bonky mandess”!

I know Cappy said Southampton is must win and we lost, but the Ipswich win and the manner of victory has perhaps allowed a similar label to be attributed to the Millwall game.

If we are going to pull off a comeback of Dave Wottle proportions then we need to be making a move soon, to get some of this traffic behind us:

These words that you speak are true. Not good enough to go up and not bad enough to go down, every game left a must win and mustn't lose situation.

Best memory of any of the 1972 Munich Olympics events!
