Lot of clubs have a couple of high ranking coaches problem being then you get too many opinions. AK won’t meddle in MP affairs and vice versa. CW comes across as a very old fashioned coach but he’s not stubborn nor narrow minded and as such has surrounded himself with very modern thinkers and that’s why it works so well

Wasn’t it the vastly underrated Davy Weir who pioneered the dual assistant manager. I know one was Lee Carsley but can’t remember the fitness guy?
