Initially I thought he was an excellent choice of manager. But I'm afraid of late I'm re assessing that opinion. So to sack or not to sack? That is the question.
If he stays, will he be allowed to get rid of the dross we currently have and strengthen significantly. Well lets assume he will be allowed to get rid of the dross (I doubt he will be allowed but never the less) look at who he has already brought in. With the exception of Billy, crap!. What's to say he wont bring in even more crap?

But if he goes.............look who is choosing his replacement and look at his record for our last ten managers.

Neil Warnock 2 December 1999 16 May 2007 Sacked or allowed to leave, either way, IMHO, huge mistake in allowing him to go. Im certain we would nt be in the mess we are in now with him at the helm for longer.

Bryan Robson 22 May 2007 14 February 2008 . Absolute playing and financial disaster

Kevin Blackwell 14 February 2008 14 August 2010. Hoof but took us to Play off final and then sacked at start of following season in knee-jerk reaction

Gary Speed 17 August 2010 14 December 2010 . Left to further his career. RIP and God Rest his soul.

John Carver 15 December 2010 30 December 2010 One match in charge. Would he have been good for us. we ll never know.

Micky Adams 30 December 2010 12 May 2011 . Oh dear , oh dear , oh dear.

Danny Wilson 27 May 2011 10 April 2013 Took us to play off final. Following season when in a good enough league position sacked in April.

David Weir 10 June 2013 11 October 2013 Disaster

Nigel Clough 23 October 2013 24 May 2015 Top six finish and two cup semi s. Sacked

So Kev has been responsible for the hiring and firing of the managers who have taken us into this downward spiral. He has sacked or allowed good managers to go. And then appointed clueless ones in their place. I realise people will have differing views on who was and who was nt a good choice of manager. But I dont hold out much hope that his next decision, to sack Adkins or to keep him, will be the right one. And if he does sack him I dont hold out much hope that he will make the right choice for a new manager.

To paraphrase Woody Allen:
“The Blades are facing a crossroad - one road leads to despair and utter hopelessness and the other to total extinction - I sincerely hope you McCabe, choose the right road”

I don't know...does anyone?
McCabe? Princey ?....anonymous Jimbo?

I think the question should be 'will the board give whatever manager the funds and freedom to buy the players to get us out of this league...or will we be scouring the reserves and rejects of the Championship for loan players to compliment our youth team which will form the core of next seasons first team squad'

I would never have sacked Blackwell. He was ousted after losing to a team which would eventually go on to piss the league.

If he'd been here this season we would not have seen cuntish performances from this cunting bunch of cunts that's for sure.

No need to worry, Kev will do what suits him, not the Club

I would imagine plans are well established for the "third statue" of his greatness to be deployed for saving us from League 2

Blackwells a number 2. He always has been.

He's also done some managerial and coaching work and makes Warnocks tea and fuels up his tractor.

It'd get even worser

With so many players out of contact and loan players going back to there parent clubs , we have never had a good situation for a manager to start his own team build process from scratch , with not having a miss mash of players from 3 or 4 different managers.

Who ever it is does not mean instant success although it worked for Charlton and Bristol City in the past .

You do need sensible money and a plan . Although I would sack Adkins , my head tells me I cannot think of anyone to move us short and long term, we then have to keep him , but review the coaching methods and back room staff.

My view is we stick with Adkins . I wish the season was now ended as I am sure if we get a hammering of the Reading 1 Birmingham 6 especially at home , he will get the sack .

The closer we get to the end of the season , the less the majority of the side has to give all , as they will be on there way , and who wants a broken leg , when looking for a new club. Safe bet is not to play them , if Adkins does he tempts fate which could seal his own fate .

Great timing as ever as was Wilson

Dont think much would change. The club is in total disarray at the top . Not many clubs prosper when that happens.
