Not bad for £2, eh? :)

Or at least, that's how much it cost me when my dad's band played in the big building at the end...

The supporters coach is free, the board are funding it. The £1 to walk Southend Pier is the most expensive part of the day so far!

Sorry...I thought you walked from Sheffield and charged yourself a quid for the pleasure.....;)

Great gesture from the club putting on a free supporters coach. Well done on making the effort. UTB

Credit to your board for putting the free coach on, will hopefully get a few more of you going who wouldn't have been going otherwise, therefore adding to the atmosphere

I'm expecting a decent turn up from you guys tonight, even though its on TV

Also, there's a section in the programme called "Back to my Roots", in which they ask a Blues fan a set of questions. As far as I know, i'm the fan in question tonight. :D

I'll look out for it! Always had a soft spot for Southend as another SUFC! The free travel was only for fans who had already booked on supporters coach so don't think it will make that much difference. If it had been on Bank Holiday Monday I think over a 1000 would have gone, now I think it will be around 600. I was impressed with Southend at the Lane in the first half hour when you went two up. Particularly in the second half you were holding on a bit.

Based on that, I'm assuming (and i'm probably wrong) that your fans pay in advance for the coach? When I go on the coach with the Shrimpers Trust, they collect payment on the day, about halfway through the journey. I said exactly the same thing to my dad about the away attendance. I thought you'd initially more or less sell out given it would have been on bank holiday. Add to that the fact we haven't played you at Roots Hall for some time.

I was also impressed with us that day too! Going two up in the first half hour at Bramall Lane probably wasn't what anyone was expecting. Payne & Leonard took their goals well! But yes, we've made a habit of that this season, throwing leads away...

Sheff Utd - Winning 2-0 - Drew 2-2
Rochdale (H) - Winning 2-0 - Drew 2-2
Swindon (A) - Winning 2-0 - Lost 4-2
Gillingham (A) - Winning 1-0 - Drew 1-1
Gillingham (H) - Winning 1-0 - Drew 1-1

On the other hand, we've done rather well against the bigger teams this year...

Coventry (A) - D 2-2
Sheff Utd (A) - D 2-2
Wigan (H) - D 0-0
Coventry (H) - W 3-0
Millwall (A) - W 2-0
Barnsley (H) - W 2-1
Barnsley (A) - W 2-0

Can the team bus drop sammon off there and tell him the players are stretching their legs before the game... You lead the way Connor... We'll be right behind you.....
