As I mentioned further up, it was the circumstances around it that cast doubt in my mind rather than the noise, but anyway, let's all get on with our lives.

Have I been abusive? Just by pointing out your replies were a bit....extreme given the OP. You did accuse me of shit stirring, making things up, not going to the game, being a liar etc.

Maybe you misheard me. It's easily done.
 
Going off the majority, he's been neither here nor there as far as being worse than anyone else has, so taking that in to account, the OP should have, in an absolutely perfect world, have known that it wasn't really a realistic prospect for fans to be booing Coutts. Also, from the OP, he was aware that fans have chanted "Coooutts". So both those things point to the fact that it was "Coouts" as opposed to boos.

Now, on the other hand, this isn't a perfect world and sitwell, instead of politely explaining the above, came on a lot more full on than he should have been, even going to the extent of suggesting the simple question that it was, was shit stirring. He might not see it this way himself, but it definitely looks as if sitwell liked to show his dominance where he could. It would only be fair of me to point out that I don't think he always does it, I've had my run ins with him don't get me wrong but some times he's full of debate.

In conclusion: Very minor fault in the OP in that he probably should have known that it wasn't boos. Much more of a fault in another poster over reacting to this, especially the way in which he did it.

Oh, and yes I have just typed all that on something as tedious as this.

This thread seems caught between the crazy people that think the crowd hate Coutts enough to go 'boooooo' when he came on, and the crazy people that think the crowd like Coutts enough to shout 'Cooooooouts' when he came on.

Clearly they just reconfirming Gary Sinclair's announcement that Coutts was coming on to replace Whiteman by shouting "truuuuuuuuuuuuuuue." Complete overreaction on both camps really to something so innocuous.
