OK, so he did say it if you change some of the words so it reads 'I won't getting sell of Murphy'.

closely followed by "that's not to say further down the line somebody puts a bid in - it's business - Liverpool didn't want to lose Raheem Sterling but he's gone - that's football business". Are you denying he also said that?. It's a cheap trick quoting out of context so obviously.

Given that Adkins has been able to only sign 5 players (and it's questionable if one of those was his doing) and wasn't allowed (for whatever reason) to bring anyone in during January, it's pretty clear he has been working within a restrictive budget. Warnock signed some absolute crap (for instance I think it will be difficult for anyone to top Lee Baxter) and managed to sign some more once McCabe loosened his purse a little.

What starts off as a perfectly reasonable thread on NA's views, rapidly descends into another Barneyfest.

Once again that fucking dickhead moves the discussion away from the matter in hand, to once again be about his views on Adkins.

Would it possible to have special 'Barney free threads' where a sensible discussion can be had?

Maybe we would have to take it in turns to engage him on deliberate 'Barney decoy threads', so the rest can enjoy a proper exchange in peace.
Taking one for the team and all that.

Barney ruining threads happens more often than us not signing anyone, fax machine jokes and threads on Dan Burn, I have no idea why people are still surprised.

Because we never plan or hit the ground running when it comes to transfer windows.

I can guarentee now where ever we are on August 31st there will be talk if we are trying to get deals over the line.

As discussed on here several times in last few weeks our transfer policy is run by imbeciles /morons/idiots choose as appropriate.

After we sign woolford,sammon and Hammond permanently,we will have another two years on here saying we can't do anything til we get rid of Adkins dross...
