¡No Pasarán!
If that's true then he deserves some credit for showing that he actually gives a shit.
Not for me. Performances > words. He's miles short.

Interesting twist on what happened LBOE...fair play to Baxter if he's tried to say how it is...as you say,a bit worrying if NA and certain players don't see any problems.I had a phone call chat this evening with someone who was there .( not a player ) .
It does seem that like me on the keyboard , other people much closer to the field of play cannot see or work out what a certain player adds and the tremendous work that he carries out off the ball we appear not to always see or appreciate.
To get out of this mess we do need discipline and if the players are to have a healthy postmortem , then brawling with each other will not help the cause . What may be even worst or worrying , is if they are certain people in the dressing room ( including management ) who are in denial and do not really see a major problem .

Oh I agree he isn't a good role model but forgetting the drugs and whatever went off in Dublin for a second, I want to know our players give a shit. If Collins has a shit game then I want Edgar to give him some shit in the dressing room, if Sharp runs his bollocks off for 90 minutes but gets no service from anyone, I want him to tear the rest of the team a new one. I want players that have got a bit of passion (and are good at football, obviously) and give a shit for the club they're playing for, not a bunch of twats that just turn up, put in a half arsed performance, and then they all sit in the dressing room in silence after the game.To me Baxter is not a good role model for younger players , good enough or smart enough to question the managers decisions . Yes healthy debate is good but going round full of anger , allegedly taking drugs , brawling is not good in any business . It's disruptive .
To me he has to go . Adkins the boss , he calls the shots , and thankfully he now realises the buck stops with him , the football manager.

Will be interesting to see what the official line will be

Surely they wouldn't suspend him for showing he cares about the club. If it's drugs (which a lot of people are saying it is ) then it will be deserved . If we have jumped the gun could he sue us. Will be interesting to see what the official line will be
They're definitely not playing as a team and like you say, there does appear to be some sort of them & us situation going on with Adkins. Him saying the team isn't good enough for promotion can't help at all, why would they want to play for him when he's saying stuff like that?Baxter has a behaviour and alleged drug problem . Something makes him blow up and go off the rails .( could be his peers , lifestyle , liverpool life , who knows ) .
I think a drug issue will come out instigated by the club who will have no choice . Yes I want players to care and have a go at each other , be open and sort the problems out for the good of the club.
To me there seems divisions between players who are not to me playing as a team.
Is Adkins helping the situation , who does appear to have his own them and us club .
Baxter the brawler , drug taker is a spent force and so are any players who have backed him or who are seen to support him . Adkins is getting tough which hopefully is not a little too late.

Baxter needs to be sacked and I certainly won't miss him but if what you say is true, give me 11 players with that passion please.
Completely agree that he's the wrong man to be the spokesperson and he doesn't do the job on the pitch himself (although none of them do).Agree WhiteHawk . The problem is the one who is doing the talking and giving the bollockings out does not do it on the field of play himself , has a alleged drugs problem , may have failed a club test , starts a brawl , so is the totally wrong mouth piece spokesman for the players or even himself.
Yes let's have passion which starts on the pitch and spills over to the dressing room . Pity they don't show the same fight and passion week in week out on the pitch , but Adkins does say they hurt and care .
Let's see how tommorow pans out as every game theses days are major important and have a side product influence full of smoke and mirrors

Still seems like a fall guy in ways I'm willing to bet other people in the locker room have been done for misconduct n other stuff as well before
They could make a soap opera called "The Blades" based on life at the Lane. Only some of the plot lines would be dismissed as too far fetched.
I assume Footballers' Wives wasn't on your televisual radar?

This shambles is right up their street.... I'd be surprised if they're not currently planning its resurrection.
. Except I don't think our team were wiped out after a play-off final.

You might be right LoyalBlade. Just wondering out of interest you understand, which player would you have suspended for Baxter's failed drug test?![]()
Have said it before but Baxter is a real marmite player
Lol only heard that it was for failed drug test yesterday yet again at first thought it was for his comments after bury gameYou might be right LoyalBlade. Just wondering out of interest you understand, which player would you have suspended for Baxter's failed drug test?![]()
As for fall guy probly sammon as a excuse to ship him off back to derbyYou might be right LoyalBlade. Just wondering out of interest you understand, which player would you have suspended for Baxter's failed drug test?![]()
Definitely a Marmite guy.
Some people hate him
Some think he belongs on the end of a knife.

The suspension is not down to taking drugs . after the match last Tuesday in the away dressing room he did criticise a number of players and started a fisticuff brawl . When players were separated Baxter left the dressing room found the RS commentator and gave a unauthorised interview apologising for the teams performance . His interview was a little shaky and disjointed , but at least he had the balls to tell it how it is IMO.
Who is right and who is wrong , who knows in this SUFC soap opera . Either way he is finished at the lane .

Would Morgs have been suspended? If that's true then he deserves some credit for showing that he actually gives a shit.
That's pretty much how I heard it.Not sure about this dressing room stuff.
Did I hear it wrong or in the RS McCabe interview of yesterday, did the RS guy directly quote that JB was suspended for failing a drugs test and did McCabe, with an ideal opportunity to,refute this, fail to do so ??
