So why no praise for Adkins gamble today..it was a rather bold move and one that should be welcomed even from the staunchest critic..I'm sure you'd agree?

No, because I didn't agree with it before kick off and that hasn't changed. If we can win by 1 with the team we put out, it's only then logical to suggest we might have won by 2 or 3 with a better side.

You didn't agree with the selection choice of Adkins so although they won (which is, I have been told is the main thing) they would have won by more had he followed more closely a team you did agree with? o_O

I do agree with it if it's part of a wider plan and we do it consistently and with the right players. As we are and up to now we haven't been. I don't think Reed or DCL were worthy of a first team place. Turns out we won and the selection wasn't too much of a problem but that shouldn't take away from the fact that two better players could have been selected.

I'm not saying they're good players either, because we've hardly got any - that's common knowledge. I'm saying I'd have played those over Reed and DCL, and I'm sure I wasn't alone on that before kick off either.

I already have, and you've chosen to ignore it for some strange reason. I don't rate many of our players, not many do - the majority aren't good enough as has been common knowledge for quite a while and as is seen in the league table. But there are of course, certain players I'd play in front of others. What's hard to understand about that? You're obviously having difficulties, but not so much in having the irony to call me stupid on the side.

The managers decision was vindicated.

That shows a clear lack of understanding of my entire point. It wasn't even a criticism, because as you say we won I've praised the team on the whole for that. It was a separate point about the team and thus the scoreline not being as good as it could've been. As I've said also, not that it matters too much as a win's a win, but if we'd have drawn that or lost, a better team could have been the difference between the points.
 
I honestly thought we would lose today.
Adkins changed it round couldn't believe the line up that started .
Bit more pace today they seemed like they wanted it .
Credit to the manager.
I'm happy tonight
