At £500,000 in League One, it is a waste of money. A young and athletic player on the rise and in the required position and it's different. It'll never be the case we'll have to pay that amount of money for a player in his mould at this level. Especially in a position as low in priority as it was at the time.

So a striker was a low priority REALLY !!!
Please explain how we had a good enough stike force in
Done - injured for the first part of the season and only just getting some form
Adams - His form has been patchy to say the least in between injury suspension and de selecting himself
McNulty - good enough but nowhere near the abilty of Sharp

You say £500 k was a waste of money for a player that is likely to be in the top two strikers in this division
and is proven at this level

You obviously don't have your own opinions on the club or anything constructive to say. I don't agree with anything Barney says but he is obviously an attention seeking wind up merchant.
