Nice gesture from Mr Wang donating to a number of charities (8)

Well done sir

Can't see a great deal happening for the club, but might be some scope for the city

Construction buddies, much money up for grabs, McCabe frequently uses SUFC for entertainment. Charitable donations often smooth the way.

Nowt for United.

Hopefully this bunch have better luck than the last lot did.

I'm sure Haidong came on as a sub once...
He did, in the defeat against Colchester in the FA Cup 3rd round in January 2006. His introduction was greeted with "I'll 'ave a number 46 with fried rice" from someone sat near me. Did Kabba score (what turned out to be) his last goal for the club that day?

Weirdly, that was indeed Kabba's last goal. I'd completely forgotten his lack of goals that second half of the season. What an odd season – 6 in the first 6 games, and then they seemed to quickly dry up. That contract situation around the Leeds game hardly helped matters.

That Colchester home upset is somewhat topical given the debate on how much to value the cup competitions. That was one of our poorest seasons in the cups, not getting particularly far in the league cup either. And yet it's the last time we had a fully successful season.

Hmmm - Chinese investors over from Chengdu - just reading between the lines and probably making 2+2=5, but, could KM see them as likely investors in SUFC?

Might not be a million miles away from the truth??? Heard a couple of months ago that United were in talks with possible Chinese investors, the story/rumour whatever you want to call it was second hand but from an employee of the club.

I mainly blame Colin for that. Up to the derby at the Lane, Kabba was on fire playing in a 2 off Shipperley. Then we played the pigs and quote "on a whim I just thought we'll play 3 up front", whereupon it was generally a 3 of Kabba-Shipps-Webber for the remainder (bar the two months when numpty tried to f***-up promotion by binning Shipps for Shitebiyi). It didn't work for Kabba. When he was in a 2 he'd be bursting past the centre half and be in on goal; when he was in a 3 it was the full back he'd be going past and then have the centre half to go past as well.

Kabba probably didn't help himself with his outburst after the Leeds game at Bellend Road.

Let's hope they don't actually watch any games before making a decision.

Lot of talk on here over recent seasons about managers not having a Plan B.

IMO if Adkins fails this season and the Prince decides to pull the plug then the Chinese are ready to step in and fill the gap.

If we can have a Plan B off the pitch why can't we find one on it?
