It's probably the beer talking because I'm at a low ebb with the Blades but.....

We will win our next five league games (plus the cup game). Hope will be restored and hence set up for inevitable disappointment.

I sense a reaction to criticism coupled with a (by anyone's standards) winnable run of fixtures. I genuinely believe it's possible but it is my last hope for them.

I don't know what my relationship with this club is anymore. I love them, I know in my heart I do but at the same time I just cannot be arsed with it anymore.

Seeing football become this horrible, greedy gravy train full of corruption and inequality doesn't help. It's even worse that our club is deep in the defecation that comes out of it.

I have hope yet no hope for them.

The last one was OK. We didn't sell anyone and brought in a few players; Brayford, Done, Freeman, Coutts plus Davies and Holt on loan. Didn't work out as we'd hoped and should have added a CH but if the board backs Adkins like they did Clough we should do some good business. Touch wood.

"Let's see who gets knocked out of the FA Cup"
"Good players are hard to sign mid season"
"We're working hard to bring one or two over the line"

That would be a disgrace if so. The line that "you can't stand in their way" should never cover Christmas. If McCabe didn't learn that lesson with Blackman then he's a fool.
