Does anyone knows when the latest club accounts are due? Do we even publish them now the club is not on the stock market?

With all the talk of FFP and the lack of signings, I'm interested to see what our wage bill is. I would have thought crocks / back up players (Alcock, Wallace, Flo, Flynn, Scougall etc) are all on top money for League 1. I can't see us shedding their wages until the contracts run out.
 



I think FFP is not an issue in Division 3. Though that changes in Division 2 and any decisions the board take now may have a knock on effect.

Istm a bigger issue is the Prince viewing the club as a business with a plan on a budget rather than a delusional vanity project funded by a bottomless pit of money.

Yes. All limited companies have to publish their annual accounts, not just those quoted on a stock exchange. The accounts are available on-line from Companies House Webcheck for £1 - you need to create an account first - downloadable in pdf format. You can see which are the latest accounts before you commit to purchasing.

I doubt many of those are on top money for L1. Flo and Flynn probably decent. Alcock might be on a fair whack because he turned down a contract at Posh, but I don't think they're big payers.
Scougall won't be on that much because they're paid very little in Scotland and I suspect Wallace is on a cheap deal because his legs are knackered and we knew it when he signed.

Collins will be on a good amount and I wonder about Coutts, did we get him cheap because of his injuries or have we been mugged off?

The last accounts didn't give a breakdown of wages between football and administrative costs, just a total overall.

The only other info are average monthly numbers of employees split between admin and football. Football was 98 employees.

FFP is here. From another recent thread. I think I used this link to start a thread a while ago in case that discussion is relevant.

Basically afaict the Benefactor Model means there are far fewer restrictions in Division 3 and 4, and if someone wants to throw money at the club they can. I think.

Didn't we buy Scougall for around £200k? I wouldnt be surprised if Scougall, Flynn, Alcock, Flo, Collins and Coutts would top alot of league 1 teams highest earners.

No. employees 154

I think (SCMP) player costs constitute the majority of the wage bill.

25 players over 21 at an average of £4k / week would mean an SCMP wage bill of £5M (it would mean the rest of the 130 employees average £26k pa)

Good value for money for the constant play off failures ? Although this was the season Clough staved off a Weir relegation.

I imagine 2015 accounts will be available Christmas / New Year.

NB: pure guesswork on my part on the SCMP estimates by the way.

Yeah, probably the smaller clubs.

And we do seem to have a very high wage bill for this league. Higher than some clubs' turnover I'd guess.

My ability to decipher them is admittedly limited. I'm not even certain what we could label Cost of Sales other than supply of merchandise. Do we have a specialist on this forum?
 



Those are key financials rather than an accounts summary.

Cost of sales includes football related wages, I believe stewarding and policing costs plus as you say merchandise.

I can see it's displayed differently but in what way is the content different? Genuine question.

I had assumed the £8.4m on Wages and Salaries included football related wages, otherwise who's earning all that?!
