Hendrie had a good game. Constructive, accurate passing, good movement on and off the ball, and whipped a couple of decent corners in too. The rest is a bit hazy as I overdosed on Guinness last night. :drunk:
 

I thought Robson made a good tactical change in the second half, Webber playing behind the front 2. He looked dangerous coming from deep and that could be something we see a few times this season I think.
 
Did you lot know you got loyalty points for Forest game (and Rotherham?) Dad's had 50 added for both! (not me though, obviously didn't appreciate me going)

We got ours as far as I know.

It was 100 points and just for the Forest match as I understand.

Ah sorry.. couldn't remember, just remember seeing numbers, must have been 50 for Rotherham then.

Can't believe I didn't get my points for Rotherham, cheeky sods
 
God knows what's happening with these loyalty points. You only need a Season Ticket to get first choice on Watford :rolleyes:

It does cost a fortune, christ knows how much I've spent since I could afford to go.

It's all worth it though :D

I thought that Horsefield linked up very well with Stretch. I was surprised.

he's been doing it all pre-season, holding the ball up well and bringing people into play.

There's not really been much of an end product though.
 
what were ppl opinions of sharp? glad to see he found the net, but apart from that what was the performance like throughout?

same as he always is to be honest... made intellegent runs, was always available, strong, brilliant control, fast feet and scored in the 6 yard box :)

do you think then that he will be the front runner in the starting line-up this year?

7 front men is alot, and i expect at least 1 to go, maybe only on loan, competition for places is always good but i mean is 7 too many?
 
he's doing himself no harm at all and barring injuries I expect him to be starting on Saturday.

The only reason I picked it up was cause I was having same conversation with a mate other day. I can't believe we have managed to let it esculate to 8 strikers in the side.

If I'm honest, each one brings something to the side (maybe barring horse)

Beattie is a fantastic signing.
Stead I do like and can do a good job, but he is surplus to requirements in my eyes,
Nade has potential
Shelton I don't wanna see £2 million squandered.
Webber I love and think can flourish again
Sharpy is a little sex pot
Hulse.... another superstar

All 7 of them can do a magnificent job in this league I think. It's a shame we do have to get rid of some, its absolutely obvious a few need to go.... so its picking out of them who we would rather keep. People disagree when I say I wouldn't mind Stead going, but the options above him are better in MY opinion.

Anyways, I wanna pie and a beer now :D

Don't see a future for Nade.
Was surprised to see him at the ground on Saturday, although he left mid-way through the second half.
