I was at the Northern General A&E this morning and saw mcgahey there. His arm/wrist/hand all bandaged up, bit of blood about. Was with his mate. definitely not a training injury!

Some of Blackpool's coaching staff reckoned he was the best prospect they'd ever seen (sounds familiar). I'm hoping NA can sort him out and get his development back on track.

He looked OK at Fulham, not spectacular but fairly solid. I think, if we do sign another centre half and Kennavaro can get through a couple of games without breaking down there is scope to send him out on loan. At the moment we might need him as I don't want to see McEveley playing CH.

I must say I'm impressed.

I barely recognise him when he's on the pitch with his name emblasoned on his shirt. I wouldn't know him from Adam (or Adams even) if he was in his civvies.

If the party was in Nottingham as suggested, I would think McGahey's mate drove them all back and they were late for training. Once they'd seen his arm they'd have sent him to A&E. Or they dropped Che off and he had to explain that McGahey's gone to hospital.

Pure speculation but it might explain why Che was late as well. He wouldn't have gone to A&E with McGahey. Presumably they should have been at Shirecliffe for 10.
