But I really can't see an end to this misery with the squad we've got.

Please share your stash, I'm still shell shockedFor me the misery of Tuesday's game has completely dissipated.
Now I'm recharged and full of optimism for the Bradford game.
COYRAWW!!!!!
Just you.
Even Grumpy can see improvements when The Beard, Done and others get back. We might even see Wallace and Coutts together for 90 minutes in the same match.
And this time last week we were storming the league. I thought it was politics where a week was a long time.
or more pertinently.. under a decent medical teamI think Coutts will be an interesting one. Hopefully under a decent manager he'll flourish.

Starting to wonder whether we are going to have to wait till next season, when quite a few will be out of contract and we can rebuild properly.
Howard, Collins, McEverley, Baxter, JCR, Higdon, Alcock, Cuvellier, Wallace (unfortunately), McFadzean and McGahey are more than likely out of contract at the end of the season. Coutts has another year on the sidelines after this one.
I've got to admit, THIS seems years ago already.
Ditto. And this for me is probably the first major calculated error by Adkins so far – choosing to call off the Colchester game because we were going to miss Edgar, Reed and Adams, rather that try and keep that momentum going, while understandable at the time in retrospect looks ill-judged. Buoyed by that win at Swindon, I think putting McGahey, Wallace and Woolford in (while obviously no way ideal) would have given us a reasonable chance of continuing that run – and eliminating the need to then play two games in the space of 4 days to catch-up.
yes its youBut I really can't see an end to this misery with the squad we've got.
With hindsight, it couldn't have been any worse to have played the game but I thought it was the only decision he could've made at the time. Baxter would've been missing as well had we played on the original date.
It would've looked like a Capital One / JPT side. Postponing it also meant Colchester had 2 long away trips in 4 days - just think what they'd have done to us if they were fresh!
