Went to Cardiff on a coach. Left at 7.00. Driver had heard there were problems on the M4 so decided to go down the Fosse Way. Seven fucking hours.
Then, after the pile of crap we served up, had to wait til gone six while someone got the organiser out of the local nick, where he'd been put for fighting.
Yes, down the A roads.Sounds similar to me and my dads journey there. Is Fosse Way through the hills with hundreds of sheep ? Didn't go on a coach from the Vic in Dronfield did you ?
I think a coach always has to go because of the bulky kit requirements. I imagine they will travel back by coach as they shouldn't get held up coming back and it'll be more flexible for dropping those off that don't need to go back to the Lane.I was told by ticket office and website that the Fulham tickets were coming down on the coach so I'm guessing they're travelling down by train then getting the coach back.
I've always enjoyed travelling by Lear Jet, but if you think the train is wonderful, then that's fineThe most wonderful way to travel is by train, especially to London
That's just a bit 1970's though. Have you tried teleportation? The caveat is that you usually end up with your left forearm fused to your right knee and your bollocks where your nose used to be but that's just a small price to pay for the executive in a hurry...I've always enjoyed travelling by Lear Jet, but if you think the train is wonderful, then that's fine![]()
