Step son always parks for free in KFC car park then ignores the ticket and chasing letters!

Lots of good advice, but most talk about paying. PAYING? Fuck that.

Just off Granville Road. Free, safe, 10 minute walk.

Perfect.

I'm with you Alco on this. A fiver to park your car. Has the world gone barmy? Thinking about it ,the council pulled a fast one years ago ,when they charged punters visiting the sty, to park in a line on Dixon Road. In those times it was totally illegal to make a charge, The road was, like others around there free to park on , or it should have been.

Next to Decathlon it's £2.50 if you use the meter instead of paying the people who stand at the gate. Last few seasons they had a sign up saying the £3 was going to a local charity, this season two lads just stood there with no sign. It's always looked a bit fishy to Bert.
I've found they've gotten too greedy and pack in too many cars... Nightmare trying to get out unless you leave before the whistle! And not a chance am I doing that when paying £400+ for a season ticket

Should be mon-fri like everywhere else!

It's almost like the reason for the residents parking zone is the presence of a whacking great football ground hosting matches at the weekend across the road...

What pisses me off is folk not parking up to the end of a marked on street parking area. It is typicalky the smallest car as well.

There are a number of free parking places within the high field zone, but they are always taken. The bulk of the scheme was a cynical attempt by the Council to stop people working in town parking for free and walking into work. Some bright spark then realised they could also fcuk up thousands of blades fans as well by extending it to Saturday's. It ends at 6.30, so usually OK for night matches.

£3:50 in the multi storey above Plug for united fans. You have to take your parking token to car park attendant to scan it down to £3:50 either before or after game.

Alternatively park on any double yellow line or on a pavement around Wolsey street and you are as safe as houses from a ticket!
