Gone Elsewhere Michael Turner

He's also got a poor attitude. I was in the casino the day after the playoffs and bumped into three of our players, two were very pleasant men. Harrison on the other hand was still at the poker table at 8.30am when they had to be in at 10am. Whether that just reflects on players attitudes to Clough I don't know, I still wasn't best pleased and I let him know it.
Is that the morning after the match? If I'd lost and lost like that I wouldn't be having a laugh in a casino right after it happened. I'd be gutted.

It was indeed, granted he didn't play but still. The other two seemed genuinely gutted and were very nice, they had left around 2am from memory. I'd had a few myself by this point and asked "come on lads what's gone on with that defence?" To which the reply was "I don't know man, he fell out with Collins before I'd even arrived, everyone told him we needed center backs"

I imagine most of the squad were happy to see the back of him sounding more and more like he was was not only a dictator with the players but refused to listen to anyone as well.

Why should the nasty bastard in midfield have the Murphy money? Assuming it's in cash, it would restrict his movement severely and limit his ability to jump at set pieces. Perhaps he could carry it in a large bag, in which case he would, of course, be a holding midfielder. A cheque might be the answer; he could tuck it in his socks.
I'm having an 'is it just me' moment here..

I think Turner might be a bit of a Paddy Mccarthy if we get him.

Probably needs a season long loan does Harrison and to get himself a lot of game time. I agree Northampton would be ideal place for him to develop more. Although is he not on the injury list with everyone else at the moment?

Now this injury list is beyond a joke. Does one have to book a table ,in advance,or is it first come first served? Perhaps the Manager, with his wide experience of such matters will allocate tables with those in greatest need nearer to a window table.

So the other 2 were drinking until 2am on a work night? Hardly makes them model professionals!

Any reason you've named Harrison and not the other 2?

Fair enough then, whoever the other two were seemed nice.
Was that the response from one of the other two lads? Seems like everyone was aware of the urgency for CBs except Clough.

Because they went in 6 hours earlier.

None were perfect by the sounds of it but at least the other two made an attempt to prepare.

I found this very strange too.

You seem quick to throw Harrison under the bus but are reluctant to reveal the names of the guys you are praising?!

Just think it's a bit unfair to name one player and not the other two.

To me, just because McGahey was even more unprofessional than the two that left at 2am doesn't excuse their lack of professionalism.

No I agree that all were out of order but i'm just pointing out McGahey was most at fault out of the three.

Appears to be dragging on

Adkins said yesterday something about deals being done last day of TDD as is the usual case

Someone on twitter says deal has stalled. Probably just stating the obvious

Yeah, from Kieron Freeman. He genuinely seemed surprised to be recognised and was really chatty. Same for CHE Adams, so much so that after chatting, I went and did my thing, and he came actively looking to say goodbye and thank you for supporting an hour after we'd spoke. Very nice lads

I thinkit has to be a priority to relegate McEveley to left back cover only. I wouldn't like him to even be considered at centre half from now on.

And everyone threw a hissy fit when I said McEveley wasn't good enough and needed replacing last year.... Ironic that when everyone jumped down my throat he gave away 2 penalties, and countless easy goals in the following weeks. But what do I know.

That's nice of them. I guess McGahey just didn't see the point as the season was over and he wasn't being included in the squad.

Alright mate, your medal and coaching badges are in the post, you should receive them shortly. They are engraved with Jackson 'The Special One' Blade, I hope this is to your taste.

You tell em mate. No one likes a hissy fit.

My Pele,

I claim medals for Ironside, Chappell, Whitehouse, Long, Diego etc....etc.....

Looking more than likely no deal

Rumours circulating that Turner won't drop his wage demands enough, coupled with interest surfacing from a couple of Championship clubs

I guess NA has probably moved on now and changed targets

Yes, you wouldn't need to live at 221b Baker Street to figure that out!

Is the "someone" young and aspiring by any chance....
