Doesn't matter if Robinson or someone better gets the job. According to this mop head we are going nowhere... :(

OK the sacking thing about us is as big as an Elephant draw back, but look at the possibility's,

A. Squad ripe for development.
B. 20,000 plus crowds achievable
C Backing in the players market.
D Team in a Major city
E New pitch
It's got to be tempting, in it.........:)

Best laugh i've had all day..... Sheffield.. a Major City... 'kin hilarious.

I don't give a shit what league Mk Plastics are in, we would still be a bigger pull than them any day of the week. Ffs, how far have we actually fallen if this isn't the case.

This attitude is one of the major problems we'll have in this recruitment round. We are a big club for the league that we are in but if I was Karl Robinson I would much rather manage the club I've built up and have a good relationship with fans/board/players at than chance my arm at a club whose fans have expectations that are at present beyond the personnel employed by them both on and off the pitch.

We are where we are for a reason, we are not currently good enough to be any higher that's the reality the sooner people accept that the easier it will be for someone coming in to have a bit of slack to turn it around.

According to the Mirror, KR is the number one target we are going after. Could be BS from the Mirror of course.

I think the Star reported that talks with candidates had started today.

Well if he really is, "in the know", he is saying that the club will unveil the new manager on Thursday/Friday?

Surely that can't be Robinson then?

Well the statement did say they want someone on board as soon as possible.

I agree Kev, they did say that, but if it were the case, then anyone currently in employment, must have been speaking to the board a while ago, not just since today? Or maybe I am looking at that the wrong way?

Robinson may want a new challenge and does not want the comfort zone . Mk Dons are reaching there peak .

SUFC are more than a challenge , a big club in name only with a great fan base . A poison chalice , who some managers wouldn't touch with a barge pole . Our Jim Phipps can sell the dream , like selling sand to the arabs.

SUFC , a managers grave yard , but a place were plenty will want to come . Some bonkers , bad , average , but we still have pulling power. Spend big money and we will get the right man.

Ive just put a couple of quid (last of the big spenders) on Karl Robinson with Sky Bet got it at 5/1 looked 15 mins later odds gone down to 3/1

Probably not the strongest market in the world, but it's still a bit crackers that he was 16/1 at the start of this thread! All good fun.

Has everyone forgot how bad it was to watch MK against us this season ?

and how crap they were when their Spurs midfielder was injured. It's emporer's new clothes with me for Robinson I just don't get it. Another issue would be that it's unlikely that any of his key players would follow him as is generally the case when a new man comes in.
