Last time before NC seems everything was set to go and then their chairman got all mardy with compo. This time seems prince will go To full length with compo etc

As a few others have said, i can't see us paying NC off then paying compo for KR or PP.
Just makes a decision not to go for Adkins or Warburton all the more inexcusable to me.

Would love this fella as our manager
for all the right reasons plus he seems to hate the pigs
I didn't enjoy being bullied by them - but that said more about us than them.

Seen them several times on tv and they were decent to watch and scored for fun.
Yes it did ,we tried to play football ,they played anti-football.

KR's odds have fallen drastically also. Now 8/1! I'd be more than happy with him, positive attacking football.

I wanted him before Clough and I still want him. I just don't see why he would join us, not that I would complain if he did!

Karl Robinson was the No1 choice after sacking Weir , did have a interview at the lane , and was offered the job . Compensation at the time was not a issue , but Robinson wanted a last crack of getting MK Dons into the championship , and complete the task , he has been building in 4/ 5 seasons . He is also loyal to MK Dons chairman Pete Winckleman .

Robinson has achieved his goal , and perhaps sees that he cannot take MK Dons any further . Mk Dons could struggle in the championship and that would mean , perhaps the parting of the ways at some point . MK Dons are not cash rich as Bournemouth , therefore repeating there double promotion is highly unlikely.

Robinson may leave MK Dons , with his net worth and reputation still being high , with the timing right for a new challenge . He has , for whatever reason , some form of infinity with the blades , and would be the best manager , by far , out of all the names being touted IMO>

He also has respect from premiership managers , that would assist us in the loan market , plus a advocate of giving youth a chance .

I hope he comes to the lane , He would liven the place up , get rid of the negativity , and play football , but mix it with steel , when needed.

With regards Clough -

Clough created another stir with negotiating to bring in Barker and Eustace from Derby , although good players , both are injury prone . Perhaps it is this , what was the final straw , that broke the camels back , on player recruitment , with the board .

Not sure how much was down to KR this season, or whether they finally got the right mix of players, but they seemed to score 3-4 goals every game (or at least it seemed that way

How can we possibly bring in Nigel Clough last season & say it was a 're-building job'... sack him 18 months later... then replace him with a guy who's just taken 5 years to do exactly what Clough was brought in to do. Aside from the fact I think he will take a job in the championship if he does leave MK, it would be idiotic to bring in a manager who needs time to build a team, when the board will just sack him when he fails (IMO of course...)

cos he didn't rebuild anything presumably.. its like these cowboy builders. they come in and are supposed to do this and that and leave a bigger mess than before they started. at some point you have to get rid of them and start again.

fingers crossed its adkins had a fiver on him last night when he was 34/1

10/1 on BetVictor right now if anyone is interested...

I didn't want Robinson before Clough but this season he has changed my mind slightly. He got MK promoted and made some decent signings while there. He also seemed to have some sort of plan B in place against teams he knew would be difficult to beat.

I would prefer Adkins as he is a good long term solution, I would worry about Robinson if he did get us promoted.

His contract is up this summer, might be playing us for more cash (cynical head) or alternately, I believe he's had a rocky relationship with Pete Winkelman over the years and maybe doesn't fancy what's being offered there?

Who could possibly tell...
He got a new contract last time he said he was interested. Of course he's interested now.

Perhaps he could bring the entire team with him and put them in red and white, sorry, white and red shirts.

Lets worry and concentrate on a bloke who can get us out of league 1 . We can worry about the championship when we get there . At the moment it is not near but a long distance away .

The focus has just to be on promotion ( automatic ) .
