With the midfield in the state that it is, whould you have MB back in the middle of the park?

100 % i woud love brown back in he could play for someone alot better though!

I doubt there are many premiership clubs interested in Browny, he hasn't proved himself to be anything more then an average player at the top level.

He will always be a favourite of mine but i feel his best days are behind him.

Id have him back of course, but lets not forget at Bramall lane he was beaten at his own game by our own underperforming midfielder in my avatar.

Although to be fair, fulham seem to use him as a defensive midfielder, as did spurs.

The in form Brown would indeed be useful, but on his last few months with the Blades and majority since then he wouldn't add much.

Other than a worse disciplinary record that is.

Nah i wouldnt want him back not now anyway.

The brown of 2003 then yes.

Last time I saw him play was against us at home and he did nothing but put the ball in the stand.

browny had one good season with us and hasnt had one since, why whenever we are in torouble or are not looking like being promited to people look at browny he is not the player he was and would not do a job for us,much ratyher have koumas for the smae price

Why not go a bit further, and try to get Dane Whitehouse back playing? Or Sir Bob Booker? T.C?
Brown was a good player for us, he did a good job and then fucked off for the Premiership. Thanks for the memories Michael, but we don't want you back.

New thread please, this subject is now officially worn out!

If it ment having the old michael Tonge back who would fire goals in from 20 25 yards out on a regular occurence yes i would because as soon as browny left Tonge has never been the same:(

I seriously cant believe you wouldnt have him back, look at the way Tonge upped his game against Brown.

That was no coincidence, played in the right way Brown would bring the best out of players such as Tonge. We havnt got anybody much better at the moment.

Koumas is obviously first choice by a long way but Colin hasnt got the balls to go for him as we already know.

i would like brown back no doubt but think koumas may be a better bet.

Well not looking good for Fulham, if they go down, he would be worth a look at.

Played in the right way? You mean we need Tonge to have "upped his game AGAINST Brown"? So, if I get this correct, the way to get the best out of Tonge is to have him play against Brown every week? Isn't that against F.A. rules? Don't we have a fixture list to adhere to? We can't play Fulham every week despite what you say Sharpy. You are obviously NOT the great guru of football knowledge if you think we can play whoever we like, whenever we like.

*Tsk tsk tsk.:D
