I'd suggest you would get a better response if you stopped coming on patronising people and disrespecting them because they don't conform to your world view. It's not your point of view I don't like its entirely the way you go about ramming it down everyones throat as if it is all that matters. You give a snidey, backhanded slap to those who disagree by intimating they may be fans of that lot who shall not be mentioned. Then when someone outs you, what happens you back off into the background saying you weren't having a go at that poster.
I don't care how many posts someone has, be it 60 or 6000 there has always been a level of respect between posters. In almost 20 years posting on Internet forums I am not sure I have come across a less respectful person than yourself. We can all be keyboard warriors, we can all get ahead of ourselves but the absolute patronising, self serving shit you have graced this board with (100 likes or not) and the constant sniping without having a pair of balls big enough to be honest about it is embarrassing.
Just remember for one moment we all support the same football team and you might start getting somewere.. I don't care whether it's Judge or Sitwell, Pinchy or Blade Too Long, Darren or Walthy, we all support the same team, and I have always found there has been respect amongst other posters.
Finally, you seem to be staggered why everyone hasn't embraced the new man like the great messiah. I'll give you a clue why there are cynics. People believe change when they see change, not when someone tells them.

Don't really want to comment about your personal issues with woodwardfan - these things happen.
I want to take issue with the part of your post I have left.
I see change happening - all be it, slowly, but there is definite change from Pre NC to now.
You imply change is not happening, or to put it another way "same old, same old" - why?

Why do you keep moving the goalpostsYOU HAVE TO ASK ?
Tedious be thy name.Glad you acknowledge there is a new man, that's progress, even a breakthrough, you couldn't give a shit yesterday.
As Fulwood says above, these things happen, I can do no more to help you out of your wilderness. Looks like he's going to have a go, good luck.
Let's call the whole thing off!Why do you keep moving the goalposts
I say we should have bid for Brayford
you say we did
I say how much
You post a blog saying he is playing well
Fair point. I see us welling our best players like we did in the summer then making do and mending by replacing quality with quantity. Today's signing of O'Grady may well be the water shed in proving me wrong, christ let's hope so but "game changing" investment is surely more visible than this isn't it?
I'm behind NC by the way. Think he was a great appointment but we have some way to go before we can say we are fixed don't you think?
Why the fuck did they let him out on loan then ?well they bought him for 2m hes now their fans favourite what do you think theyd accept for brayford
Why the fuck did they let him out on loan then ?
Was he their fans favourite then ?.
Am I saying bid for him now ? No
You said we did bid for him earlier in the thread
I can't keep up with your swerves on this subject
Getting you to stick to a point is like nailing jelly to a wallthats the previous manager , ask him
some dont get picked as we know , by certain managers
Some level of competition for places is a start. Woodward fan has it. I'm clapping like a sealAbsolutely - long way to go, but NC has zero affinity with us (unlike Derby), but seems to be warming to us and going about the job in a professional way.
He started from a low base it has to be remembered. I too am surprised by NC originally saying small squad of quality players plus juniors. We didn't actually get that, but it may have been that a 1st division club just couldn't get players to drop down - Dexter Blackstock as an example recently.
I am less convinced about COG, although with Higdon getting fit I can see real competition for the1 slot up front. Perhaps 1 for 6t0-65 mins and then the other for the rest of the game. Mcnuts may make 2 up front if we are losing, although I feel a tad sorry for Mcnuts.
Just need a sound result v Notts tomorrow, would take a streaky 1 nil v MK Dons, a convincing win by the seaside.................oh dear, starting to get ahead of myself.

You appear to the most "principled" Blade on here so what's the point in discussing?
Getting you to stick to a point is like nailing jelly to a wall
Footnote: Can't hear many of those "principled" Blades moaning about the lad crossing the divide from S6. All that was always nonsensical.
We are in such a bad place and have been for too long that everyone is welcome.
MalfunctionYou can say that again
And herein lies the problem. Some people will say we are in 5th place and others will say we are 5th in Division 3. Let's be honest no matter how rosey you want to paint it that's an inescapable fact.We ain't in such a bad place aren't we fifth in the table FFS.

We are only so many points of automatic promotion is another one, problem is that is always being said. It's never we are so many points clear of X, Y or X. Z. Also it's fair to say we aren't playing so well.
I can understand when someone says we are in a good position because in relative terms this season we are, but we don't look very comfortable and that's my issue. I think some people look at this season as the big opportunity. No big hitters in the league and we are all scrapping for the two places up for grabs. Next season you look at the teams in the bottom three and those around and you wonder how we would cope with another season down here.
10 points clear at the top of this league is still a shit position as it is the 3rd division.
I'll be happy once we are back in the 2nd and I doubt I'll be on my own feeling like that.
