What type of midfielder is Peck?

An out numbered one atm

Good player but needs some support around him .
That is the problem of 4-4-2 vs 4-2-3-1. The no 10 for them drops back and helps midfield. For us, if the second striker isn’t adding a significant goal threat then you’re just giving up the initiative.

Not sure what that says about him that we're still not sure what type of midfielder he is. He's very active, doesn't hide, but he doesn't really seem to have a specific role. Probably says more about the manager than the player tbh. He's a young player and it's the manager's job to mold him.

what I completely forgot about is when we were 3-1 down he was walking to take the corner and fans moaned then he tried That’s a piss take

Yes, he seems to have added goals. Although one was completely pot luck yesterday you earn that luck.

He's been our best player in both of the last two games playing slightly advanced. I don't think he's a CAM but he seems to thrive having the license to be a bit further up the pitch. He's wasted playing auxiliary centre half like he used to.

Nice to see him taking some initiative after reading my thread 👍

Any hat trick is welcome, GLTTL…👏

Maybe you should. It's terrible take after terrible take. Difficult time for you right now I guess.
Not at all my son, I've been right for almost a year. He decided what type of midfielder he wants to be and has given himself the kick up the arse needed to achieve it. Bravo 👏

Maybe i'll release a book as well.

No you just look silly again. You also seem to naturally dislike all our players.

Well, I probably would if I was wrong a year ago. Which I wasn't.

Yeah. It's a pretty dislikable bunch. There's a few that are immune to criticism from me, a few I like generally, and the rest are just either ordinary or poor. Why, do you think this is a squad full of likeable players? 🤣

In some ways he reminds me of a young Declan Rice - a really well-rounded midfielder that can carry the ball and drive his team up the pitch but is sometimes stuck sitting deep.

Feels like he needs to be given permission to be more expressive because otherwise he's far too safe in possession. But when he does start playing progressively he's got good technique - see the goal at Blackburn and the 2nd yesterday

For those saying he has massive potential, I don't see it
He's not good enough at any one thing to make it as a regular at that level and I think he's as much to blame for that as anyone
You were wrong a year ago. As usual

Wow, a young player has developed himself in a year to have some standout games! This is extraordinary and unprecedented. Whatever are we going to do with this information?
