The subs improved us greatly! unlucky not to get the 3 points, Zettestrom made some excellent stops for them

Cannon should probably have been pulled at half time its not the game for him against the physical sides, i thought Ayew offers us far more with his hold up play
does Bamford have a dodgy shoulder, im sure he did same thing last season, is it same one all the time?
Campbell looked sharp when he come on as well offering more physicality.i think wilder probs regrets not starting the stronger lads when he looks back at it
all in all its the early kick off upset they put themselves about today derby so a points probs deserved

I'm generally in favour of Wilder despite him being a mardy, stubborn gobshite but his reluctance to accept the obvious regarding Donovan is really annoying.

Took having an extra man for us to wake up and look half competent. Yes we should win in the end but that can’t mask a pretty horrific first hour where we had zero clue how to create chances.

Donovan very good (again), a constant threat that worries the opposition and gets the crowd excited. Bench for you on Friday son.

I don’t think you have been watching him too closely. Today he showed just what he is capable of. The real question is is how good is he at the start against 11 men.
What I see has nothing to do with Wilder.
I think back to McAtee and how good he became for us by being well managed and growing into the demands of Championship football.
Where we probably agree is that there is more excitement when he gets the ball than there is with any of the others, except Seriki.

Could do with someone like donavan for the rhs in january , burrows crossing disappointed me today . I have a question about tanganga several times he could whipped in a quick cross but chose to drop a short pass .
Other than that I didnt think the performance wasnt that bad .

I am not sure what “ the obvious “ is with Donovan. Talented, yes and really good today against 10 men and a tiring defence, but is he more effective when starting a match ?
Perhaps the answer is to start him and see, but then you leave out Chong or BBD and play one of them on the wrong side.

Yet at the same time, if you looked at some of the electricians, sorry, footballers, that we have out on loan, you'd be furious if they were only getting ten minutes here and there. People on here keep telling me that "men's football" is a different game to football, and he's not going to learn it getting splinters on his arse.

There is more to learn than minutes on the pitch for a young player.
I think he will have an impact on our season, but let’s not rush everything.

Completely gloss over the first 80 mins which were a total embarrassment. ‘They made it difficult / fighting for their lives etc’

We were abysmal, needed to get into Derby from the off and not give them any confidence.

Not starting Donovan ahead of Chong, is now starting to become unforgivable.

You need to close your account and watch a different sport my CWFC supporting friend if you can’t see what Donovan brings. Leaving Chong and especially BBD out would improve the team immeasurably. They offer nothing at all and are standing in the way of competent or even good players. Weird how Chris and his mates want to die on this hill.

Pretty sure he wouldn’t be any worse than BBD who offers absolutely nothing. He was good on the left today, needs to be him there and Chong on the right.

For the record I don’t have any positive views about CW. I support the team and comment on individuals as I see them.
Today, coming on against 10 tired players, Donovan was excellent . If he starts will he be as effective overall ?
I do however think he will be an important part of our season.
