We are going backwards right now. Wilder said at the end of last season the team would be different this season, he made it much worse, he complained about fitness levels, and has the most unfit United team I have ever seen. When challenged he just doubles down in some petulent strop rather than maturely reflecton whether other outlook than his could be considered. Will je stay to oversee our relegation or will he stomp out the back door like he has done before?

Surely a team of experts from this forum could be put be put together to do a sort of caretaker role till the end of season.?
This would not only save a load of money but the right team selection would be absolutely guaranteed every single match
also the correct formation will be selected every game , plus the correct substitutions would be used at bang on the right

If that's the style you want to play why would you base your entire recruitment philosophy around players that a) can't keep fit b) have no pace and c) have no stamina? Is the plan to give Ayew PEDs?

WIth out going too Yorkshire again but Leam Richardson has started to build his career, originally a Leeds lad as a player but has coached at Accrington, Wigan, although his time at Rotherham didn't work at the best, he is establishing a challenging for the playoff League 1 side at Reading at the moment and they are playing some good football from what I have seen although not all there defensively, they do score goals, if not on the end of some bizarre results.

Caught my eye at Wigan but the Rotherham move was a bad one. Although looking at what's going on there I think the club is cursed.

Average job duration for a manager is 18 months. As a fan base we need to get used to the idea that whoever comes in next is only going to be around for a couple of years. There's plenty of fish in the sea.

Playing hoof, or direct isn't working either, you still need fit players who can get up and down the pitch. We're not a counter attacking team due to lack of pace in the forward line, Donovan can't get on the pitch at times, and not really a possession team. When pressed we panic and give the ball away, can't pass at speed, then give the ball away. The only time we're comfortable is slow passing across the back line. Wilder should have settled on a system and got players to suit. Granted he has been shafted losing 3 of our best players but he's said for a while "frees and loans" so how much did he know of the transfer policy beforehand?
