An actual identity and style of play that the team can identify with. That means playing people in their proper positions.

We’ve all seen some absolutely appalling displays from certain players, yet they keep getting picked because he brought them in, they cost a fortune, or they’ve apparently got the “right attitude”. The list is a mile long.

He also needs to drop the stubbornness and knock that chip off his shoulder. If something isn’t working, change it.

The mentality when we go in front needs sorting as well. Sitting back and trying to hold onto a lead has been our downfall for over three seasons now. Where has the courage gone?

He’s turned us into a cowardly team at times. No confidence going forward, scared to take risks, just waiting for something to go wrong.

Is that a reflection of him? When the going gets tough he looks beaten himself, then storms off down the tunnel.

Fitness and culture is another one, that might take longer than three weeks to sort, but once again this team looks nowhere near fit enough and the professionalism has been poor. That comes from the manager.

And enough of the excuses about the players he’s brought a lot of them in.

You can also argue that we haven’t brought players in where we needed them most- he brought them in. Recruitment again has been a shambles and nowhere near what you’d expect from a properly run Championship club.

For me, he needs a minimum of 6 points from the next three to suggest we’ve actually turned a corner. But the performances need to improve as well.

We’ve got 9 points, but let’s be honest, they haven’t come from great performances. It’s been turgid, depressing and at times a disgrace to watch.

He’s got three games now that we should be getting results from, players coming back and proper time on the training ground. For me the three games are massive, could be season defining, if we don’t pick up 5 or 6 points, I think a relegation scrap is inevitable.

Nothing will change as we’ve been exactly the same since January 2025, we just had superior players in Anel, Souza and Hamer that dragged us to the play offs…but we didn’t even have a real style of play then, same shite as now but just a sprinkle of quality players to pull us through.

Time for Wilder to go. Thanks for 2016-2020, incredible times and memories, but it’s time to move on.

let wilder go now, bring in a new guy, let him assess the squad so he can make necessary changes in January and just hope the players aren’t as spineless as we think and can at least stay up, and then let’s just start afresh in the summer.

That's a good point.

On the one hand it's difficult to know how much Chris has been hampered by the sleight of hand shenanigans of the owners.

What concerns me is some of the decision making at our club such as the recruiting of tried and trusted players prone to injury, giving new contracts to the likes of Shackleton and Campbell. Our recruitment of unfit or players who just can't get fit is a real head scratcher.

There's no doubt we need a new direction and approach for next season whilst (hopefully) we are still in the Championship.

Fitness and sustainability has to be high on the agenda. Bringing on our own youth players and signing young, fit players who can run and run.

He did on both his returns, said he had learned and was prepared to make changes. Gone back to old (fashioned) ways running club from top to bottom, failing to modernise, chip on shoulder etc. everyone including fans, players, Knill, media have been chucked under the bus but Wilder is still Wilder.

He’s got no idea what he needs to change. He’s waiting on ab injured right back coming back to be better than the two expensive right backs he’s literally just signed ffs.

One simple change is to stop the excuses in press conferences.

The signal it seems to the players is terrible:

• You’re really tired
• You aren’t my first choice
• You can’t risk any injuries
• The opposition have more money than us

It's not about turning it around now. It's about when he is removed from his post. He seems to have upset half of his players by singling out individuals. He's certainly losing the fanbase. I can't see results improving so I don't think CW will oversee another transfer window. Its just a matter of when he goes now not if.
