Yeh yeh I know he has some money to spend but he’s a prime example of someone with some coaching nous and know-how who’s got a team performing probably above their position in the league.

And they just smashed high spending Chelsea 3-0.

It can be done, we can unearth a gem, we just need to proactively search NOW behind the scenes. But I do not trust our owners to do this properly. I’d even half expect them to consult with ChatGPT.

He's done well but the real power at Brentford is not the coach, it's the infrastructure

Both Brentford and Brighton have English owners who are on the scene and on top of developments make make decisions from being on top of things within there clubs .
We have owners who run the club on the hoof no studying of the game from within in other words totally nieve about the English game.
Its obviouse Wilder is struggling and now Knill is gone he has no experienced man to rebound ideas off.Jones and Collins just don't have the nous we need ( lack of experience)
We need to put Wilder upstairs and bring in a young coach not a rooky as Wilder termed it when called out after the Fleetwood debacle.
The way it's going he will be sacked anyway if things don't improve drastically ! We are not at the racers and being left behind by clubs with vibrant young coaches who are ready for the challenge.Andrews was one such coach with fresh ideas there are others and we don't have to go abroad to find one,although that foreign coach has to be someone full of fresh ideas. Would Wilder accept a roll of head of football he bleeds red and white someone like him as head of football would be ideal .
Our model has to change these Americans are so nieve about football and need someone to move us forward.I think Wilder would a big asset in that roll ! As I said he is a sitting duck really unless things change drastically.
That all too true phrase springs to mind! Stand still and you go backwards! Seen it all before we get in a pickle and the manager gets sacked.
