I don't care how much he's on a week, not even getting off the bench, for a side that might not get a point until November/December, is a terrible career move for anyone.

He's not Premier League quality. He wasn't when he played in the Prem for us and any club that watched him and thought 'he's just what we need when we're struggling' deserves what they've ended up with. He easily has/had the talent and ability to have a career in the premier league he just didn't have the drive to do it. Fair play to him, he earned a shit load, was the best player in the championship, loved by fans at both clubs, and didn't have to change his lifestyle much. Still ate and drank what he wanted and had a manager that encouraged it..

I was in the Black Horse, Torviscas, Tenerife in January watching us on their screen. The owner knew Gus well as he had been quite a regular in the Wakanda Bar
