You could say there goal ruled offside and our goal given and we get 1 point. Just not that lucky desereved or not.

What bothers me is whilst there is no VAR why are they always in discussions with whoever is on the other end? The games are no longer reffed by humans. Petrified od making a decision.

It should have been 11 v 10 for about 35 minutes if the ref had done his job properly.

But as per fucking usual when it comes to Sheffield United they don’t. Lost the last two home games. Norwich goal was offside and their guy should have got a second yellow today. I’ll have 4 penalties at Stoke please Football Gods!

I keep saying it but our reputation with officials is awful. It’s rare we get a big decision go in our favour. That ref was more likely going to send McCallum off before any of their lads.

Their player pulling Peck back, which should have led to his second yellow card, was no different to McCallum’s yellow after just a couple of minutes.

The lack of consistency with ref’s is a complete joke.

I watched the ref and his assistants warming up before the game and even then he was swaggering about and being macho. I passed comment that he would be over officious.
Afer McCallum was booked (very soft yellow) then one of theirs was booked for something more than a yellow - we commented there should be yellows, oranges and reds.
2 yellows should make an orange, 2 oranges should be a red and maybe orange and yellow should be a red.
I know it would be unworkable - but it gets so frustrating 🤨

He had already given a free kick against us in that incident at half time, then blew the whistle to avoid the embarrassment of such a terrible decision.
As many have said, he was totally in love with himself and the idea of being on TV, so he ensured he was everywhere. Some really bizarre indecision though, he seemed to have no clue about the advantage rule.

Ref summed himself up for me when they were making a sub I think. Trippier walked up to him, had a chat and shook hands then stood having a laugh together. Can just imagine ref saying “Hello Kieran, how’re you doing mate?”

That's the thing, other clubs schmooze the officials. We don't, we sadly just expect the ref to do his job properly.

Ever since Wilder's sandwich comment it's like officials especially PL officials don't want to know about any big decisions in our favour. They should have had a red card and had McCallum not gone off with a bit of an injury, that ref was going to send him off.

I think one player from each team should be armed with a tazer that they could use twice per game on either the referee or the linesman of their choice. It should be done without warning and preferably from behind so it comes as a surprise to the official.

Today I could see Wolves using it for the handball penalty appeal for sure and we could have used it for the foul on McCallum and the second bookable on Sydie. The power should be set to maximum and if the ref can't carry on there should be a bench populated by a team of replacement officials.

Something needs doing about performances like that one today, he lost control with the yellow card after 90 seconds and just got worse and worse. I'm thinking if the tazer thing takes off we could ramp it up to wicker men in the car park. Two tazings, you're still fucking up, time for a burning methinks 🐻

“The sacrifice of the willing king, like virgin fool, will be accepted.‘

That describes most referees in my opinion.

Today’s ref just seemed to be clueless. But yeah he’d clearly marked McCallum as the one to give everything against and gave him zero protection

Rob Jones - Demoted from the Premier League for being shit and foisted on us. Completely unable to make a decision without his VAR overlords.

Why do they not get suspended for a match or two? Why do we have to put up with them.

He stopped play when their player was injured behind the goal at the kop end. Off the pitch and then must have been 3 minutes to sub him off.
He seemed like he was going to carry on play, but their keeper just wouldn’t restart. Useless.
Then the injury just before half time. Play stopped for a couple of minutes, everybody just stood about. Then blew for half time the instant play restarted. Bonkers.

He booked Tanganga for the exact same foul not 5 minutes before, and it was in middle of the pitch, this was is a more dangerous position driving towards edge of their box!

Its unbelievable stuff from the referee not to award a yellow card and stinks of corruption, theres nothing else for it and things like that is where the referee should be held accountable for, have his wages doct.

If someone like don goodman is saying its a blatant yellow card as your going to get which would be his 2nd yellow - then to me that affirms how much of a yellow card it is (as he hates us).

It could have cost us the game that decision. Would they have been in the position they were when they scored or McGuinness handball? Doubtful.

This was absolutely shocking as well. The player is off the pitch but referee stopped game and then waited by him until wolves had subs ready.

I don't ever remember seeing such a bizarre decision
Think with the handball rule, it’s been made so complicated now.

They say unnatural position. But unnatural doing what? Who runs with their arms by their side? That isn’t unnatural at all to have your hand out in front of you if you’re running across.
