Very strange game peck class with the goal unbelievable first touch good with the assist as well. Donovan looks dangerous and probably our biggest threat to teams this season. Passing across the back almost cost us a goal and almost two goals, as silly as it was from Donovan I do think peck was just watching and waiting for the ball to come to his feet instead of reacting to the pass if he had tried to get there I think he would have got there before the Blackburn man and also probably drew a foul. Not our best half by a country mile but hopefully we can change stuff second half and take this game by the scruff of the neck with a one goal lead.

2 really good bits of play for the goals, but Jesus other than that we’ve been horrific. Still needs changing at HT to get some control of this game.

If Wilder doesn’t recognise that it’s been a shocking performance and make changes then I despair.

The 2 goals really can’t make him think he’s got it right so far, can it?

If he does he's been plain stupid. He has to change it and get more control - Rothwell has to come off it's terrifying how slow he is.
Thats Rothwell who provided the assist ?
We've no creativity !! Lets take off the bloke who created something.

Dick Turpin must be SUFC's manager after that first half. We'll take what we've got but formation obsession and blatant stubborness on the part of the manager has contributed to possibly our worst 30 minute period of the season. 4-4-2 doesnt work and but for 2 pieces of quality finishing Blackburn would be going in leading by probably more than one.

Just for once could we come out second half and start to play on the front foot? It hasnt happened for a long time.

If anyones got a couple of flags at the game can they send a semaphore message to CW "Choudhury isnt a right back never has been never will be". Keeping him there will cost us more than the goal hes already been reponsible for.

We're winning but the opposition tactical changes will have an impact. Again can we respond and think it might be useful having three in the middle to retain some control of the ball which we didnt see much of first half.

What do we reckon?

I think move to 4-3-3 and try to own midfield better.

Trying to think how to achieve this with limited changes.

Donovan-Cannon-BBD

Maybe Doherty for one of RND or McCallum

Choudhury in midfield alongside Rothwell and Peck as an 8?

Or maybe we look at 5-3-2?

Tanganga-Kitchen-RND
Donovan Choudhury Peck Rothwell McCallum
Cannon BBD

Might be asking a bit much of Donovan but he’s got the energy.

I don’t like Choudhury at right back at all. It’s asking for trouble. Rather than waste too many changes lets see him at DM and move someone else to RB.

Not happened before.

I think every time we can’t think he can’t get more stubborn, he does 😆 sticking with the 4-4-2 rather than switching to 4-3-3 with Donovan & BBD higher is just baffling.

Honestly I wouldn't even mind trying McCallum at RB. I know he's left-footed, but he's still a better full-back than Choudhury even on the wrong side.

Well, I didn’t see Campbell for RND.

What is it now 4-2-4? Is Dave Bassett back?

Cannon got the sort of pass be apparently thrives on but wanted 20 touches before he could shoot!
