That’s got to be one of the worst halves of football I’ve ever seen! There is no pattern of play whatsoever (there hasn’t been all season!)
I’m sorry but that Norwich team isn’t all that great either. They deserved the win definitely, but who for them looked like a level above? No one!
Wilder needs to be tactically better than the opposition (isn’t that the whole point) and at the minute he’s 20-24 for his acumen!
Unfortunately it’ll be more excuses I fear than pragmatism! 😡

At what point do we look at Tanganga as the problem? No matter who he plays next to we get split open way too easily
He's certainly part of the problem. The two man midfield is also an issue, they've just been outnumbered in all three games this week which lets teams go through us too easily. We get our wingers to tuck in and make up the numbers but teams just quickly switch out wide and create one on ones against our full backs.

Bolton and Norwich in particular had skilful wingers with bags of pace and identified they'd be strong one on one against Choudhury and McCallum/RND.

Outplayed by a better more cohesive team. Most of the Norwich squad has been together a while and they’ve made some astute additions.
We very much look like a squad of aging journeymen desperately cobbled together hoping our one bright loanee winger can produce some magic.

We gifted them their goals. Numerous sloppy unforced errors were notable yet again.
We had a few good moments and one or two periods of decent pressure but they were wasted.
All over the place at the back again, not strong enough in midfield and lacking pace up top.
Am a bit worried, thankfully Cooper is on top form for now.

Confidence in this team back down to zero. From coaching to players, don't see many wins this year, hopefully enough to get us 20th or above

Ditto

Too many favourites on the pitch.

McGuinness honestly was missed today and what the hell are we doing in the right back position? It's not the formation it's the fact there is no genuine attacking intent, too slow to get forward and putting the opposition on the front foot because no one has the balls to bomb on and put them under pressure.

In previous seasons we win today at a canter.

I don’t get down and have to rely on the telly or wireless. I’m interested to know if there’s much shouting, leading, and commanding across our back line? I get the impression our defenders play as individuals and not a unit, but maybe their shouting doesn’t come across.

Bit of a lack across the entire team.

I actually think the players probably deserve the least blame for that defeat. You certainly couldn't fault the effort, but we knew the quality wasn't there after cooper single handely saving us v cardiff & bolton. That's why we're in a survival battle in the 1st place.

In many ways, that result felt like the chickens coming home to roost after years of terrible decisions. arguably going all the way back to the post-Covid season of 2020/21. The only real surprise is that this kind of defeat didn't come earlier, against Cardiff or Bolton.

What was especially frustrating, though, particularly after Mike Dean's recent comments, was the standard of the officiating. These officials are paid 6 figure salaries to do this job. The absolute least you can ask for is competence. instead of guessing or thinking what was violent act from 7 just deserved a chat

At times, we may as well have had Stevie Wonder running the line. Missing the offside for Norwich's 3rd goal was the cherry on top of an already frustrating afternoon.

Limped to the game today due to a twisted ankle injury. Limped describes the performance. It was obvious in the first few minutes 2 in midfield would struggle against 4-2-3-1. Yet we perservered with it and Narwich just walked through us. Clement is an excellent coach but even he must have wondered why we were making it so easy for them.

Formation obsession will be the downfall of CW. I was hoping we could get to half time at 1-1 and re set. Unfortunatley they always looked like scoring when they attacked. Donovan was working overtime protecting a right back whose not a right back. We knew that on Tuesday night but again no change was made. Reidewald was a passenger as his lack of pace was cruelly exposed as they went past him time and again. Peck had one of his better games but he couldnt control midfield on his own. Why didnt the manager consider going to a 3 in the middle.

Second half was a rinse repeat of so many games we have experienced in recent times. No plan, no cohesion, no pressure on the oppostion to get back into the game.

Tanganga was all over the place. Not sure if he can cope with having a different partner alongside him.

Unfortunately the first half decent team we come up against we crumble. Their pace athelticism and work rate was considerably higher than ours.

Well beaten by a team that will be challenging for the play offs. We wont be instead a flirtation with the bottom end of the table beckons.

God that is just spot on. If Wilder can’t see it we may as well ditch him now because it’s not going to get any better despite his motivational skills.

If you insist Choudhury is a RB against all evidence to the contrary, refuse to select a RB you yourself signed, believe Tanganga is a CB and captain material and play a central 2 in midfield with no capacity to chase back in defence and leave a 30 yard diameter unprotected gap for the opposition to run into going forward what do you expect?

I wouldn’t mind normally because I expect my manager to identify obvious issues, but I’m rapidly becoming convinced that Wilder believes his own bullshit bollocks, which makes him unfit to manage us.
