Oh well. The fact that we've jettisoned a hapless, hopeless goalkeeper to some unsuspecting Bulgarian outfit offsets the slight discomfort of the club facing a 12 point deduction, a £35m+ summons and losing three of our most creative outfield players.

Everything has b a l a n c e doesn't it?

Now, where's Tommy fucking Cannon?

33 goals conceded in 11 appearances in all competitions, a nice neat 3 goals conceded per game, with zero clean sheets.

Say what you like about the AI signings but none of them were as hopeless as our Ivo.

For them wot don't speak Bulgarian:

Ludogorets has signed Croatian national goalkeeper Ivo Grbic from English club Sheffield United. The goalkeeper successfully passed his medical and is already in Razgrad, while the two clubs have successfully finalized the transfer negotiations.

Grbic has an impressive career, having played for Atletico Madrid and Lille in France. With the Croatian national team, he is a bronze medalist at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he was part of the squad as a substitute for starting goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper was last on loan from Sheffield United to Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük. In the 2025/26 season, Grbıç made 33 appearances for the Super League team.

" This is another step forward in my career. I hope to win the trophies that Ludogorets will fight for ," commented Garbich after his arrival in Razgrad.

Ivo Grbić is the third Croatian goalkeeper to defend the colors of Ludogorets after Kristijan Kahlina and Simon Sluga.

The new signing will hold his first training session with Ludogorets tomorrow and will be available to the coaching staff for the team's next matches in the First League.

Grbic is the fourth new player to be signed by Ludogorets this season. Before him, the 14-time champions were joined by Mikhail Polendakov, who came on loan from Sheffield United, Nathan Fernandes and Hossam Abdelmagid.

Is he the worst keeper ever to have played for us? I think he is. I genuinely think we would have conceded less by playing with 11 outfield players and no keeper

Once again. Just who the feck signed off on this signing... what a total waste of money. And we wonder why we are brassic now after some recent seasons in the PL. Amateurish.

Remember his first game, I was sat just behind the goal on the kop. When he was warming up, he didn't look right, he barely looked up. I think he just couldn't handle it, for whatever reason (maybe he knew he was pants)

As much as we joke about his ability, he came from A. Madrid after playing quite a few games for them inc champions league experience....I'm sure he'll have been on a decent wage.

You would think getting Davies, Ings, Mee, Grbic off the books would save quite a lot of money in itself. Never mind the sale fees of Hamer, Brooks & COH
He’ll have been on a massive wage (what someone told me was eye watering) but I wager we have paid him off or are going to be paying a fair chunk of it going forward to engineer this deal.
