Thoughtful response Nick 🙂
Read back many of the comments and you’ll see exactly what I mean. There’s an absolute desperation to pile in on Wilder.
Obviously it’s a thoroughly poor performance… but it’s a point at a tough venue and it’s early in the season.
No, it is not a tough venue in my opinion and the performance was absolute gash. Wilder, his back room staff and team of players were abysmal today, accept it.

We have somehow assembled an absolute shitshow of a squad. Lots and lots of pedestrian, bang average players. The “tactics” are embarrassing, but that might just be down to the awfulness of the squad. Still, they can’t half carry some culture. So can a Petri dish, though.

There’s no way we will go down, but this season is shaping up to be a godawful watch. Let’s see what the home games bring.

"There’s no way we will go down"

Something needs to start happening quick before we are dragged into the mix.

“Accept it”?
Nope I’ll make my own mind up without hysterics and let’s see how many teams find it easy getting points in Wales this season.
Nobody’s suggesting it was a good performance … but picking up points from poor performances never hurts.

The owners have robbed us of our season ticket money, pretending we were going to improve this season.
I’m not sure many of us would believe a word they said to us … even if they did decide to suddenly talk to us.
I fear the worst from any owners who so deliberately avoid any form of communication.

If you are happy with it, so be it. let's just hope for better soon though?

RND and Phillips played well. Felt sorry for O Hare and Cannon, didn't have a decent pass to them all second half. Shackleton, Peck and Rothwell running in treacle.

I'd like Wilder to explain why our players put so little effort into stopping crosses into our box.
And I'd like our players to explain why none of them can manage to make simple passes to their team-mates.
I really don't think that's something that's coached it's just carelessness.

The response was justified by your post because it is all that it merited. Every single Blade I know is pissed off when we lose or play embarrassingly, regardless of their view on Wilder. Anybody even attempting to sugarcoat what we witnessed today must have very low standards and zero self respect. I feel sorry for those who travelled.

We’ll all turn up on Tuesday night and get behind the team. But what is the point of being on here and trying to dress today’s abomination up as something that it isn’t?

Can definitely agree with you on that … I’m not happy … I just put my reactions in the context of fairly low expectations. Our owners have put us massively on the back foot. I trust Wilder to make us competitive… and I’m sure he’d love to have the tools to play more expansive, attacking football. He’s maybe a bit too focussed on making us solid at the moment but it’s understandable.

I don't honestly think that it is coached as such, I think that it is just out coached with younger, better players than we have. Pace, movement, etc. We recruit old players so the current manager can play golf more and leave it to the ones left behind to polish a turd.

You love to get personal don’t you mate… but as you don’t know me from Adam, I’ll put it down to your disappointment today.
Enjoy the season 😁

Looks just like the last premier league season apart from our goals. But this is against newly promoted Cardiff FFS.

The thing is we don't have bad players, they just haven't got a clue what they are supposed to be doing and are coming up against teams with systems and tactics who do know what they are doing.

Shall I not bother going on Tuesday night then?
I'm interested in how we go against Brookesy and how he does back here. I liked him.

Tuesday is what it is. I've said elsewhere that should be winnable. Emphasis on 'should'.

Your choice. Nothing to do with me or anybody else.

This is my guess

Cooper
Tanganga McGuiness Baptiste McCallum
Donovan Rothwell Peck OHare
Bamford Cannon

This is a better 442 ignoring better players who are not fit according to me or the clowns advising on 'marginal gains' pseudo science

Cooper
Tanganga McGuiness Baptiste McCallum
Arblaster Peck sadly Rothwell as fittest if worst of 3 Donovan
OHare
Bamford who led the line well last weekend for once

Someone has posted it;s 3 at the back

A better team would depend on their attackers

but based on zero knowledge is
Cooper
Tanganga McGuiness Baptiste
Arblaster Peck Rothwell/Reidewald/Phillips McCallum
OHare Donovan
Bamford

MISSED the first 11 minutes
Could not get pictures
2-1 up and Rothwell was blocked from the edge of the box

They next shot 'we' had I can remember was a firmly hit backpass by them on 57 minutes
The only genuine effort I can remember was Peck shooting wide of the left post after that.

Went to feed the birds on the whistle
Gormless Gobshite Giddens was stating something about a hard earned point, a gritty performance
A truer reflection was similar to my experiences of feeding the birds all day in the pouring rain
They pissed all over us!
Especially first half.
SHOCKING performance
re SHOCKING tactics
GREAT point.
UNDEFEATED FFS ????

I’m interested at what point we (as in, the people who pay to watch) will start to visibly protest against them. Regardless of what people think about Wilder, selling our best and buying no one will lead to us going down.

Not suggesting a boycott. Just interested.

It has looked this way since it was clear earlier in the summer that we are a selling club with nothing left to sell and no way to restock. Four candles anyone.

We don’t have bad players but importantly we don’t have good players either.

Pretty much every single one of our players is the 15th best player in their position in the league…. Which is exactly why we will end up there.

It was an extremely hard watch. And plays straight into the Wilder haters hands, but how can he possibly account for Rothwell and Peck in that first half not able to pass 5 yards to a teammate it wasn’t just bad it was horrendous. A huge positive at moment is Phillips does look like a player.

There’s no desperation. It is what it is. It used to be just his bizarre substitutions and inability to change before 70 minutes that we could moan about but we had the players to get away with it. He’s lost it. He mismanaged the end of the playoff season badly by selection and formation. When he came back he presided over some of the most coma inducing negative football aside from one purple patch we’ve seen since Clough and Adkins. Now it’s even worse. At least we could all discern some sort of system and plan last season however some of us hated it. This season he just seems to send out a team and hope it plays well. It doesn’t even look coached to any degree. Add to that his insistence on signing the slowest midfield in the division and we’re looking again at a no hope season. It needn’t be this shit. But it is, and he’s managing it.

Well, with 3 draws in a row, we are unbeaten! It seems we aren't easy to beat at least.

Do think we should be beating a recently promoted side though.
