Marsh?

Whether Marsh is good enough or not can only be seen if he is given a proper run out in the first team which is the only way we will ever know if he can replicate any form he showed in the u21's. What have we got to lose?

Is it? He's played played a bit for Doncaster, Falkirk and Fleetwood and been in u21 sides and training all the time. He's never looked like breaking into the first side in his handful of men's games for us.

Would it really hurt sticking him in instead of Cannon just to give him a chance, we don't stand to lose much if he is no good?

Totally agree. Can we at least start playing him or maybe others (Beattie?) in the team rather than continuing to play Cannon who genuinely doesnt look bothered and just going through the motions (very poorly) for his latest pay cheque. Id rather have a young lad in the team who is busting a gut to impress and to carve a career out for himself, rather than the feckless Cannon.

Maybe (a long shot!), losing his place to a pup, might provide a degree of ignominy to Cannon, enough for him to take a look at himself and maybe start to apply himself with a bit more application. Basically, the way the team plays (side to side and ponderous) doesnt help his game, bit he needs a real kick up the arse! Put Marsh in his shirt.

Needs to go, not shown enough to push past a suspect Cannon and a Onē who's younger. Not a bad player, just circumstances here have conspired to keep him out at the time when he needs to be playing.

Beattie is on his way back from injury! Something you can rush.

We'd stand to lose the ability to replace Cannon with one if two better strikers we have.

Sounds like he's going out on a loan from the press conference although nothing imminently as a number of clubs are in for him including Barnsley

It’d be a good move for him.

Can’t see him breaking into our team now. Seems a bit lightweight when I’ve seen him.

Really hope he can make a go of it at Barnsley. Wouldn’t be overly surprised if he’s a late bloomer, so hopefully we structure any deal in the right way.

need him to stay

There are few players for who expectations and reality have had such a chronic mismatch.

For all the promise sadly the lad isn’t good enough for Championship football. He’s had bad luck with injuries, but not come close to troubling the first team.

Wish him well, needs the move and to stay injury free. Surprised we are still loaning him rather than selling for peanut with a sell on.

There are players who leave who we may to regret, Marsh ain’t one of them.

I've not changed my mind that he's a very talented player and may just be a late developer.
Some blokes do take a while to properly fill out, but he should try to hit the gym (to gain a bit of size) whilst over there.

Seems a good lad, hope the loan works out for him..
Technically very capable.

Plays for us on Tuesday. Joins Chesterfield on loan six days later. What the hell is happening at our club?.

He's a footballer not an athlete. Needs to get a bit more physically capable and might come good. GLTTL

I did think he looked a bit ‘thicker’ the other night to be fair 💪

Do us proud Louie
