I've no doubt in his heart of hearts he'd like to come back before he's done but it will only ever be a token gesture when he's largely past it. If at all.

dont want him back! he made his bed na, when he could of come back he chose to go to a club we are directly in competition with to be playing top flight football, he could of been apart of the story at the lane, but like most footballers now days forgot where they come from!

Don't really see the point - if he genuinely want to come back, why do that when he’s past it and isn't an asset. Seems like an unnecessary Groundhog day from a rather self obsessed individual.

Fair enough, might be media speculation but he does have a habit on commenting on it and it all feels a little contrived. Great player, great times with us but think there should be a full stop there.

I agree and I do think he means what he says. Just not as imminent as we would like it to be. His contract expires next June ao if it were to happen at all, it would be then on a free.

On a reported salary of £70k per week, there is no wonder he wants to see that out. That's a lot of money no matter how rich you are.

So we are likely to see him sign for us next July at the ripe old age of 37.

We would likely give him a 1 year deal and he would be perfect for experience and possibly coaching.

Don’t think he’ll ever return to us. He’ll be off to Saudi next or USA for another big paycheck. He’s a lot of mouths to feed in his family!!!

Walker is a full back not a centre half. Always has been suspect in the air , surprising for someone of his stature. Not in the conversation to return salary wise.
