Didzy offered a hell of a lot more than Cannon today.Cannon obviously.
Saying McGoldrick is just daft nostalgia.
I love Billy Sharp as well but I wouldn't want him in the team either.
Finished 23 years ago and I have the knees to prove it sadly! When does school start?

I’m not saying Didzy should start, or that we should even get him back, but I honestly don’t see what Cannon offers.
So does DidzFinished 23 years ago and I have the knees to prove it sadly!
I’m not saying if you had to sign a striker, would it be him. I’m saying between the two of them, who wouldn’t rather have.Oh come on.
McGoldrick is nearly 39.
If we're looking at 39 year olds I'd probably take Messi but that's about it.
DidZy > MessiOh come on.

What exactly are we comparing for the vote? 2 completely different types of players at different ends of their career paths. We had a conversation about this today and I’m genuinely interested in people’s views.

Neither of them are currently good enough to play for us. But out of the two, I’d see a clear use for Didzy and I have no idea what Cannon is meant to do.
Anyone know where Billy Sharp is playing this season! He seems to have disappeared?
That tells you a lot about what Cannon has offered in his 51 games for the club, that 70+% of votes would prefer a 39yo Didzy instead of him.Oh come on.

Heavily disguised is an understatement. It's not your average pair of comedy specs and eyebrows with a stick on beard, it's the full Face Off treatment. Not a fair comparison in my view.
Cannon is a young lad with as yet unfullfilled or heavily disguised potential and McGoldrick is a player at the cusp of his playing days but who has been there, done that and who still oozes class.

True and I do agree with the statement, if we were to put the closest comparison we could, firstly the ages. Didzy signed for Forest from Southampton after their relegation for a reported £1million. During his time appearances at Forest Didzy scored 8 times in 63 appearances. He spent time out on loan at several League 1 clubs before eventually signing for Ipswich. It depends on what you want from a player both players are different both in stature and skillsI think the post might be how disapointing Canon has been. The fact that we would even consider a 39 year old to be better than our 10 million man is a joke. Didzy, different gravy that lad. Fair play to him.
Canon, please ffs do something to make be stop thinking that you steal a wage!
