I'd rather he stayed with us for the moment - let's keep all options open during this crucial point of the season.
Training with players at a higher level definitely a positive, though he’s going to be further down the pecking order now. I think he’s still going to get opportunities here this season

Scenario - Tyrese struggles with fitness, Moore in and out of the team say and Cannon perhaps doesnt get 'so fired up' (couldnt resist), so might need Oné

Still think his song is obvious 'You are the one and Oné'

He was linked with moves to Rovrum and dingles earlier this window, don't think they'll materialise now though. #eggmeetface

One looks to have real potential, I'd love to see him back next season getting regular minutes. Has all the attributes to go far. Realistically we'll have to move at least one senior striker on and not extend Ings. If we're likely to regularly only be playing one striker, we have far too many and need to have a pathway for youth.

Could see us cashing in on One though, surely get a decent fee.

So why flog One! Then🤔

Hoping Baptiste at Rotherham takes on the back-up role from McGuiness and Mee next season

Talking to a Miller pal of mine at the weekend, Baptiste is very much a work in progress, blows hot and cold, and needs to have someone experienced alongside him to help him learn the game. He has potential but hes very raw aa a footballer. Dont expect him to be playing semi regularly at the Championship level any time soon. Maybe one to revisit in 18 months time, but for now he needs to learn the game, take the knocks and the mistakes, and try to grow into something that is like Championship level. Raw potential atm.

Maybe because we need to raise about £30 million in player sales and reduced salaries next season.
(unless the owners do a Chansiri and deliberately ignore FFP rules because they are gambling everything on promotion next season, shit or bust).

To be honest it’s out of the clubs hands because it all depends what the bids are,
If a club offers £10 million for Peck, we’ll reject it but if it’s £20 million it must be accepted.
Same with if we receive a £15 to £20 million bid for Sereki, it will be accepted. Then we can keep our other players.

Regards One….he’s not up to Championship level yet but next season could be his break through season.
Will be interesting what we do if we’re offered £12 to £15 million…..it would be like an Osula sale.
He’s no where near that level yet but could be worth £20 million plus in a few year…..or he could become just an average championship striker.

One if given the games would have matched our top scorer this season. If they sell him it would be a big mistake.

Next season I'd send Cannon on loan to Lincoln (although only if they are still in L1. Looks like they'll be Championship so send him to another L1 side). I'd take One back and give him minutes instead of Cannon who looks out of place in Champ. Hopefully Cannon may fulfill his supposed potential though its hard to see at this point.

Cannon would immediately tell Wilder to fuck off at that suggestion

How do you know? He might find it a mercuful relief to be able to play with a lot less pressure on him.

Look at the fucking size of him, the big strapping bastard compared to the rest.
Like a bloody Shirehorse in a paddock of Shetland ponies.

Its a pity he’ll get sod all games this season - his strike rate on loan last season was a goal every 1 and a half full-games.
I reckon he’ll go on to a great level in the game, and we’ll not see the best of him unfortunately.

A.I. Mate,
BBD just behind him looks tiny in comparison, Campbell is smiling and Coops has got 3 and a half legs

He does look a proper unit now. Bloody hell.

In a way, I've never ever seen a player like Ryan before, and I've seen a lot of players.

I've been to games where he's scored two, and basically never had the ball under control.

He seems to always either knocl it too far in front of him. Or he can't get it out from under his feet. Or he could get a left foot shot off. But goes for the right foot poke.

Ryan Oné HASN'T had the ball under control.

Ryan Oné HASN'T got the fucking thing out from between his feet.

Ryan Oné HASN'T gone with the best option.

Ryan Oné HAS scored.

My waters say - you won't get anywhere unless you can control the ball...
But, it's great to watch. Barrelling in from all angles, shaking everyone off. Still going strong with the third, fourth, fifth bounce off a defenders challenge.

It's not like I know the circumstances. But surely we signed him on the basis of those physical attributes. And I long for Wilder to just say - we've signed him "for one thing", when he's on the pitch, let's get him doing "that one thing".

Should be used as a 9 imo. Impact player off the bench use that physicality

That's a whole lot of dwarves right there...where's Snow White?

Obviously the angle of the camera might make a difference, but when you look at the full picture with all the players on, Ryan is roughly the same height and build (or not far off) as Mark McGuinness.

Add that to the fact that he has a bit of pace and can score and I can't for the life of me see how he doesn't get on our bench this season.

He is bigger and faster than anyone else we have up front, can score with his head and with both feet and could cause havoc in and around the opposition box.

No more loan outs, please, Chrissy, get the lad playing.

The Agana bobble?

Because as Wilder said, he doesn’t see it as his job to coach players. It will also be interesting to see what happens with Baptiste as he’s had an outstanding pre-season so far.

He'd be better going out on loan to a Championship club until Christmas. We rarely play with two up top. The pecking order is

1. Bamford
2/3. Either Campbell or Cannon
4. One

Other than playing in the cup and coming off the bench late on in games, One isn't going to get a lot of minutes for us this season. That is unless players get injured at which point it's a lot to ask of him. If he was that good to able to fill in for the others then he'd be first choice ahead of them in the first place.

I can see him being another "Osula" where it would benefit everyone if he played regularly elsewhere. He'd get regular football that he won't get here and we get a decent fee for him and a potential sell on fee if he fulfills his potential.
