Easy to jump to conclusions but sitting where I do at the Lane, I always notice how players get treated by Wilder when they get subbed off.

Compared to others, Andre has rarely received warm treatment from Wilder irrespective of his performance. So much so I was genuinely surprised at the back end of last season when he put his arm around him.

When did Brooks achieve this status of being one of our best players? He’s one of the most inconsistent players. Sure, on his day he’s a solid 7/10, but you’ll get a string of poor performances between those. Why is everyone acting like we just sold another Ndiaye? If he wasn’t from Sheffield can you imagine the stick he would have had last season? And the season before? No one jumped down his throat when he had chance to make it 2-1 in the playoff final and completely fluffed it.

If it’s the board and not him then fans know….if it’s him because he so desperately wants to throw millions in wages at Phillips he needs to say so. He doesn't need to do anything. He owes no one anything. He's been pretty diplomatic in his goodbye post without thanking the manager.

And it may well have been Brooks' decision, but if he's have been treated better, perhaps he'd have wanted to stay and get a new contract.

Point taken mate, its only my opinion but in-between his odd flashes of skill, & sometimes poor finishing i thought he was a lazy fucker, slow to track back, and when hes lost the ball, looked like he didn't give a shit, so maybe its best for both parties
