It was to make it 2-0.When did Brooks achieve this status of being one of our best players? He’s one of the most inconsistent players. Sure, on his day he’s a solid 7/10, but you’ll get a string of poor performances between those. Why is everyone acting like we just sold another Ndiaye? If he wasn’t from Sheffield can you imagine the stick he would have had last season? And the season before? No one jumped down his throat when he had chance to make it 2-1 in the playoff final and completely fluffed it.
Let’s see how the dust settles. It could have been a speculative bid and it might well have been Wilders call. He needs to front that either way. If it’s the board and not him then fans know….if it’s him because he so desperately wants to throw millions in wages at Phillips he needs to say so. He needs to be honest here with his views and then everyone knows where to point the discussion.
Or perhaps:
We’re skint because we don’t have parachute payments
The owners can’t or aren’t putting big sums in
We have to pay the bills
We have the financial fair play (including the new limitations
We have valuations for players
We have a squad to rebuild and have to balance the books.
I don’t imagine Brooks will be the only player we sell this summer
Point taken mate, its only my opinion but in-between his odd flashes of skill, & sometimes poor finishing i thought he was a lazy fucker, slow to track back, and when hes lost the ball, looked like he didn't give a shit, so maybe its best for both partiesWhen did Brooks achieve this status of being one of our best players? It's probably the best for all parties then if Brooks and Wilder don't get or something similar then it's maybe for the best that he goes. If we reinvest the money we'll it could prove to be a good deal but this definitely wasn't the first bit if transfer business that we wanted to hear.Basically thanks everyone apart from the gaffer in his social media post.
That says it all really.
Yeah apparently. I’ve read all that on here that they don’t like each otherAll those things of course.
Plus, Brooks and Wilder do not like each other very very clearly. The former happy to get away from the latter, and the latter happy to say goodbye to the former.
Think I'd rather lose Wilder over Brooks. It's probably the best for all parties then if Brooks and Wilder don't get or something similar then it's maybe for the best that he goes. For various reasons I'm beginning to think that.Be better getting rid of CW.
We did that last summer in fairness and it didn’t really work that well. So we got him backThink I'd rather lose Wilder over Brooks.
I know, wild really, most would accept they cocked up, and try again. We did that last summer in fairness and it didn’t really work that well. So we got him back
Well we should try again. We did that last summer in fairness and it didn’t really work that well. So we got him back
