Tbh on the replay it looks like Hamers trailing foot goes across his head. Completely accidently though it has to be said.

Although not seen a very up close replay of it to say otherwise.

He did it very early in the first half inside the centre circle.
Got kicked in his side/leg, went down holding his face

Seemed to brush his back/shoulder if anything.

Love the crowd maintained the booing for the rest of the game. Rarely ever happens. 🤣

Also found it funny that their right CB then starting passing to him less and less.
Yeah. “Edgy and spikey”. As the Lane always effin should be.

Real time, looked ridiculous, and that he'd dived in the first instance to even be in that position. Being nearby, there was sod all up with him.

Think the reaction and all the vocals from John Street got in his head for the rest of the game though too.

Cheating fuck wanted booking. Bang in front of us... he went down rolling around like he was holyfield or van gogh holding his ear and as soon as he realised he didnt get hamer sent off the silly prick jumped up but held wrong ear he went down wirh to start with.

Absolutely pathetic and that summed up the ref for not booking him.

Trouble is refs today are 💩 scared of head injuries, so their first thought is to get the trainer's on in case there has been contact, players know this so go down holding their heads.

Roygbiv a bit of Limp Bizkit for the choon?... disregard that, I didn't see View From and therefore are not first!

I have no memries of Furlong's dad here, was he crap?

No, he buried two in his debut including an injury time penalty. We beat Portsmouth in a wild game, the great Robert Prosinecki scored for them and I believe a young Peter Crouch was playing too.

And then he got injured in his next game and was never seen again (or something like that).
