Just asking should anyone ITK be able to verrify whether the following is correct,.. Adam Davies contract expires on 25/01/2026!??
If correct!, Can Wilder, let Davies go (ANYWHERE BUT BDTBL) and tickle up Wigan's Tickle as our 2nd keeper, Tickle would be great cover for while Cooper recovers from his injury and put the/some pressure on Cooper's place which he hasn't had (especially) from Davies.
I don't see Tickle commanding a huge fee and (imo) he looks a good keeper, definately an improvement on Davies!!

Hard agree - and it was particularly noticeable becuase the previous season we had a guy who (and I don't know/can't be arsed with the stats) seem to prevent certain goals quite often.

Since henderson my perception is that our goalies have at best (Cooper, Wes, maybe Ramsdale later that season) done what was expected of them, at worst (Ramsdale early season, Grbic, Davies) let goals in that someone reasonably competent should prevent

He is such a bad keeper Arsenal and Newcastle signed him and play him

He isnt backup to Nick pope they share it and Pope is slowly getting dropped by Howe

If its not bad enough, its going to be really annoying if it transpires that hes been hanging around the club continuing to get paid handsomely for a shoddy job, when hes been put of contract for nearly 20 years. Ramsdale was definitely brought in as Pope's long term replacement.

And FWIW, Ramsdale had a poor start probably due to the shambles going on in front of him.

Cheers acko17, I will take it you meant 30/06/2026. that puts a different slant on who or even if we could bring another keeper in this season!?
The '25/01/2026' date was the only info I could find!. I thought it strange that the date would be so close but nothing had been put out re Davies departing or contract extension negotiations!.

I agree, there is always that to consider!. Also, as acko17 has pointed out, Davies contract runs until 30/06/2026.
If we did bring him in I reckon he comes in as No.1 keeper whilst Cooper's injury gets sorted and we still have Davies & Flaxon as back up for the remainder of this season!?.
It may not be the ideal solution but the present goalkeeping situation is far from ideal!!
