Will we send Wednesday down?

There are 7 league games before we play them next.
So far this season, they've managed 0.46 points per game, so if that continues would be on -3 or -4
On current form, 4th bottom will be on about 35/36 points with a far superior goal difference.
When we play them next, if they are on -4 and were to win all their remaining matches, including against us, they can only get to 38 points.
In that scenario, if we were to beat them, we would send them down!!

Well after we play them they have 13 more games left so 39 points to play for they are currently 32 adrift so it's going to be very close and the likelihood is if we don't send them down they will go the following weekend so will more than likely be relegated in February

Rubbish. If our under 8’s team had a chance to relegate their under 8’s team it’d be fucking funny, the fact that our actual first team can do it to them and it be on record that we sent the bastards down is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Yep, I get that Dav, but I already have my responses ready, including 'If you're going to dismiss us sending you down due to circumstances, then I'm going to cancel Boxing Day '79 because if we hadn't lost Mick Speight through injury at 1-0, the result would never have happened

Hopefully they win every game bar 1 and stay up. I could not care a scooby about their results as long as they defeat all our opposition and we go up. I certainly don't want to have to travel to Cardiff to see United rather than the bus far to Hillsborough
