Football Heaven Steel City special: Both managers in the studio tonight

They’re both shite & neither should be anywhere near the squad never mind the starting 11

And your a terrible supporter who turns on players at any given oppertunity

Troy parrot was in the exact same position as Tom Cannon and are very similar players

One was given a chance and is now a 50 mill striker the other is getting scapegoated by his fans after a 10 million pound move and starting aboyt 5 games in his natural position

You must have a head full of rocks to be comparing this to Cannon. Just because you hadn’t heard of him before last week doesn’t mean he wasn’t already a very good forward. He hasn’t ’taken his chance’ he’s been excellent for a few seasons.

Hes played about 2 games for us in a team that lost every game

He was the best player in L1 by a mile last season

Do players only get 4 games to prove themselves
Kinda fair, IMO. You do wonder how much better he'd look in a side full on confidence. As per Burrows, Campbell others...

Cannon has a far better record than Troy Parrot in the championship until we spunked 10 mill on him and then mis handled his player development

Troy Parrot failed at multiple loans in the championship until he went to AZ

Tom Cannon hasnt failed in the championship he has scored Goals for PNE & Stoke

The only difference is one player is scapegoated by Fans and called out by the manager , a manager who has quite a large ammount to do with his failings

Play him if hes shit hes shit , i reserve my judgement until players get a fair crack of the whip not what the boo boys are scapegoating

Can you point to me where he looked half decent under Selles?
Even Selles started using Cannon and One on the wing instead of him.

I'm not one to write the lad off. He's early in his career and there were high hopes for him at Villa. But I would say that given two managers have not favoured him it suggests that no he hasn't merited more game time.

He might get more of a chance if Ogbene is out. Although I'd expect Hamer to take one flank and Brooks the other presently.

Technically Barry is very good and good on the ball

Far far far far better than Brooks ho doesnt have a first touch and Ogbene who should be 100M Sprinter

The issue with both Barry and Ogbene is that whilst they have something to offer, they're struggling to execute it at this level. They'll run into the channels with the ball, but the moment they're confronted by a defender, they try and knock it round them, get out muscled in a far more physical league and lose possession. When we're struggling defensively, that loss of possession is usually quite dangerous for the team as whole.

Brooks tends to hold it up and wait for Seriki to invert or overlap, or ping it off into midfield, he's good at it and it usually helps us into a promising position. The main thing though is that he doesn't give up possession as easy and keeps the attacking move alive. The other two don't and it's likely the reason they get shit thrown their way rather than a question of their ability on the ball.

Just this once I'll feed the troll. Barry and Brooks are almost exactly the same age (22, with Barry two months older) so comparing them is straightforward.

Louie Barry has played 11 league games as a right winger, scoring once. By contrast, he's played 39 league games as a left winger, scoring 14 in the process. He's very much a one-trick pony, cutting in from the left onto his stronger right foot. He has also only made 13 appearances in the Championship and is yet to score at that level.

Andre Brooks has 5 goals in 36 Championship appearances as well as 20 games in the Premier League. The biggest thing for Brooks is his confidence, there are times when he visibly shrinks in matches but on the evidence so far he's far more suited to a career in the top two divisions than Barry.

Can you ask CW what Louie Barry has done wrong and why he plays Andre brooks ahead of him when he has the touch of a children’s bouncy castle

PPB
What Barry has done wrong, no need to ask Wilder I'll tell you, he has been done for fraud masquerading as a footballer, get him sent back.

I’ve got about 100 versions of Fallowfield on ignore, but he keeps regenerating like a turd that won’t flush!
Fab description Greenwich Blade, it's like an incurable infection that this board cannot seem to shake off. An utter knob, please people just ignore him and he may go away instead of feeding if the attention.

I’d hazard a guess that he’d be equally as bad on the left.

It would have made sense to play the best player in league one who mainly scores and creates chances via cutting in

But this is the same manager who plays andre brooks on the left so he cant cut in and Tom Cannon behind a 9
