He had a decent 1st half tonight.

I turned off when Cov equalised, so can't say for the rest of the game.

Bbc stats disagree. They were both awful mind you.

Right Chris, even the BBC, not our lot, have Cannon as the worst player stats wise every effing game. At what point do you see what's in front of you and get this one in the u21s until he actually tries to be a footballer.
Louis Marsh would love to swap!
Turn off the hate. He was good tonight and put a shift in.

I've seen nothing of him to suggest he should be in a starting 11, but, hysteria aside, I thought he did alright in the first half. Made a number of good runs and didn't get put through. Campbell had various chances today to put him and O'hare through and didn't.

Cannon was clearly better in a 4-4-2 and I thought overall, against the league leaders we did alright tonight. 3rd goal I can live with it chasing an equaliser.

Adam Davies, however, leave him in Cov for me.

He wasn't hiding or playing find the shadow. I think I even saw him running at some point and towards the ball 👏

Did he have a good half?? He's never near the ball, he's weak and his runs consist of him hiding behind the defenders. Just watch him in the box, he's hiding. He contributes absolutely nothing and has no presence whatsoever. Looks like he has no confidence and / or has never looked like he wants to be here.

Adam Davies was the worst player on the pitch. Then Ogbene. Absolutely nothing happened with him other than trying to run through players rather than round them.

Cannon looked an average striker. Which is probably the best he’s looked for us so far.

I thought he had a decent first half. And by that I mean he nearly set up Peck. Nowt else.

I just feel like the younger members of the squad would do better and put more of an effort in.
Cannon will come good, just not in this seasons relegation fight!

Did you write that comment in your head before the game started?

He ran a little bit, passed the ball 5 times, yes just passed the football 5 times in 67 minutes before being hooked and people think he did ok? I’ve watched some shite in my time at the lane but he’s definitely up there.

What the same Louis Marsh that didn't make much of an impact at Fleetwood last season.

No mate, just been noticing the bbc stats. Tonight was no different.
Don't normally go into players as it gets us nowhere but come on, he should be nowhere near the squad right now until hes knocked a few in for the 21s.

We lost the game by gifting them 2 goals (well we gifted them all 3 but the 3rd was academic) - Cannon wasn’t to blame for any of that.

He actually looked better today and Campbell was the one who looked crap.

I agree. I loved Campbell last season, thought we had unearthed a gem, but this season he has been horrific. Inexcusably offside by just being too lazy to jog 2 yards so many times.
