Absolutely gash from both sides first half. Last 30 mins we looked a different side playing with confidence and intent.

Must say we were helped by Blackburn being truly dreadful but will take that all day long.

On the whole you can’t knock 3-1 win away but we still look bang average when it comes to creativity in the final third.

Hopefully this will give us the confidence to kick on.

While we can certainly debate cannon starting it's never that simple as picking your best players. Brooks is only just back from a injury and we play 3 games in 6 days.

now that is a huge win. off the bottom on Saturday & now out of the relegation zone. Wilder working his magic. that stat that went something like, no championship team that had lost their 1st 6, or 8 of their 1st 9 (cant remember which 1 or if it was both) has never survived is about to be broken.

Also worth remembering that we are currently operating without Arblaster, Davies, Hamer and Chong; all midfielders, all potentially creative outlets.

The first of those three should be guaranteed starters in any formation we pick and the fourth would be one of the first subs on if not a starter too.

That’s a fair bit missing to have to contend with all effectively in one department.

Brooks is such a useful player with Hamer out.

You can play 3-4-2-1 with him or ask him to drop a little deeper like he was in the PL and play 3-5-1-1.

That should be the line up for the next match, him and O’Hare behind and Ings and Campbell sharing the minutes.

I think Hamer being injured is helping,
The players are now having to take responsibility themselves instead of looking for Gus to work a bit of magic not the greatest performance in parts but I can see a team spirit and working together To get the results.

Y that was what I objected to. Cannon is having an horriblis but comparing starters to finishers can be a bit of waste of time.

Subs made the difference in the second half after a poor first. Good third goal on the break. Brookes pass was quality. Thought Soumare had another good game. He won a number of second balls something of a team failure before today. Soumare Brooks and Burrows down the left shut down Blackburns first half threat. Having a left footer with height and physicality made a difference. Credit to the management team for making the right changes.

3 points a win on the road and a confidence builder. We need to play for the full 90 like we did for the last 35 minutes today. Improved conditioning will help.

Blackburn shown more desire that's why they're 2.0 up. We don't show any. Just going through the motions. Unless they get a rollicking at half-time this has defeat written all over it. Not confident for Deepdale either. And I've always been an Optimistic Blade!

Glad to be proven wrong! I wasn't expecting that second half. We looked a different unit. Hopefully we can kick on.

It's rare that any manager will get the subs right and have them all contribute as directly as that

Campbell, Burrows and Brooks absolutely key. Reidewald also did what was required
