I think it’s essential with squad and tactics we have that we try and have a formation with 2 strikers, as we are just not an attacking threat with 1 up top.

It’s clear we can no longer go for 1-0 wins as we did last season. Of course we need to keep things tight, but that’s only one part of the game. If we don’t develop an attacking threat we will go down, and deservedly so.

Same owd same owd. Still trying to play the end of last seasons failed approach. Slow build up play. Lack of physical presence in the middle and Campbell completely isolated. The co commentator was spot on . When Dull attacked they had 3 or 4 bodies in the box. When we do the same we have none with Campbell having to go out wide. Its depressing football with little prospect of creating chances. Yes we had a little flurry and hit the post but as soon as they hit a first time cross into the box, what we would give for that, we are all over the place and conceded. CW will be putting all his eggs in the Tom Davies basket but a lot more needs to be done. If Matos is a better option than Soumare then he may as well catch a plane back to Portugal tonight. We haven't threatened from any of our set pieces despite our height at the back.

Can't see changes being made until half way through the second half unfortunately. CW will believe we have played well and continue to roll out the same team and formation. Its destined for failure. Soumare on for Matos as a starter. McGuiness off for Davies and go to a 4. Then we have to try and get Ings on early just to give us an extra body up front. Just go for it. I suspect we won't.

Peck is coming under a lot of harsh & frankly unnecessary criticism. This is a kid in his second season and he’s lost a key figure in Vini next to him. He’s looked good this game & looked good with Davies next to him v Southampton.

I think Davies for Matos, makes sense. Matos hasn’t been as bad as this thread makes out. And maybe McCallum for Ings. With Hamer going out to the left. It will ask more of Ben Mee though, but he looks solid.

I think we need to be honest. if we lose today after CW was brought back a few weeks ago means relegation. These players should know how to play the right way. how to move the ball forward with creativity, purpose, agression. and 150% effort.

Hull have been woeful and we are still down by 1-0. We honestly don't seem capable of consistently creating chances and scoring to the point of 3 or 4 goals a game. Shit, we can't even score 2 in a game.

These are pro football players sho who should run through concrete to win games because of the profession they are in.

Sorry, I am depressed at seeing this style again......
