I like the dress code. Collar and tie! Is that the ref with his back to us? The bloke to his right has mud or blood on his face?

As would the Park Brigade, who never seem to get a mention.

As the Mooney Gang ran by George Mooney (who was described as having a pig like face once) were more Shalesmoor and out edging out towards Penistone Road, and the Park Brigade who were run by Sam Garvin were more Park overlooking the city centre and no doubt Bramall Lane (in fact our own Fatty Foulke often used to go up there for gambling) in all probability the Mooneys were probably pigs and the majority of the PB were probably Blades (though one of the brain dead nuggets from the PB who got hung at Armley was a Pig fan). It therefore stands to reason that the PB ran town (which they did after taking over from piggy George).

My Grandad on my mothers side knew a fella who had been in the Mooney gang, he died a long time before I was a born, but apparently he was a blades fan as used to argue with my Granddad over football.. (by Grandad on my mums side was a Wednesdayite .. we don’t talk about him much.)
