Would make no difference if there was a change in manager.....STILL the same set of players !!
But is he getting the best out of them? A good manager picks a formation to suit what he has at his disposal, not shoe horning them into playing out of position in unfamiliar roles. A good manager picks tactics which encourages players to play with instinct and to play their natural game, not force them to always do x, y and z which can cause confusion. As I've said elsewhere, you don't ask Ryan Giggs to play like David Beckham and you don't ask David Beckham to play like Ryan Giggs.

I don't think we have the best squad by any means, but I think Wilder's total control of the club is holding us back. He makes all decisions including on the pitch where players are very clearly being told to always do x, y and z, hence the needless and pointless side and back passes to "keep possession." He only takes the shackles off when we're losing and the clock is wearing down, at which point we actually start to resemble a football team and start to threaten opponents, but it's regularly becoming too little, too late.

I honestly believe that a better coach, not manager, could get a better tune out of these players by letting them play with instinct. Off the ball they do need drilling more, but in attacking play it's not difficult to work out that if you pass the ball ahead of a player running into space then you open up teams and drag players out of position. Ours just stand there like Subbuteo players waiting for the ball to come to them. It's slow, predictable, laborious and ineffective. Wilder is too obsessed with winning to allow players to make their own decisions.

The biggest issue is who the board would choose to replace him. The main thing Wilder has going in his favour is the club is currently set up to fail. We'd not just be looking for a new coach like other clubs, we'd be looking for an 80s style manager who does almost everything. There's not many of them about, let alone good ones.

After listening to Rosen’s interview I am more hopeful that they’ve learned their lessons on this. Not saying they’ll get it right but he did acknowledge their mistakes.

They’re successful in their other areas of work, so hopefully they can apply that here.

My biggest concern from the interview though was that they seem wedded to Wilder to a point of blind faith, which I don’t think is healthy.

I think the owners recognise this and are trying to move away from it (Rosen alluded to as much in 'The Interview'). It's a massive issue, not only for the club but also, it has to be making Wilders job more difficult. He's spread too thin. A more robust, devolved structure would allow him and any new manager to focus on the job they're meant to be doing, instead or rowing, cooking, navigating and repairing the nets, all at the same time.

What’s happened to us as a fan base ? We are so passive about the going on . We must be the worst at physically demonstrating our dissatisfaction with the club. Only Danny Wilson hiring and the Robson out event has happened . Let’s get some form of protest going
