Few singles remaining in various areas. No sign of remaining kop standing tickets going on sale. Could be that they have all been snapped up by s/t holders, but then you'd imagine there would be seats available elsewhere on the kop.

All sold out again….none left.

Even with a reported 1,500 coming up from London, which I think is quite small/ poor for a newly promoted club who we haven’t played in years

It’s got to be break 30K today.

Think it’s really impressive. How many clubs bottom of the league starting a season with 6 defeats playing crap could pull in 30K for an unattractive match?

It is impressive. Still, having cheaper tickets than usual, and being able to watch our version of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King, will certainly have helped swell the numbers.

If the porkers did a similar thing to try and get more deluded through the turnstiles would that be helping to 'swill' the numbers?

Don’t like to be harsh and personal but that’s pretty accurate.

My last memory of Ruben was watching the Ipswich game on TV and it showed you our bench and instead of watching the match, Ruben and his assistant were both staring at an iPad.

He played players either out of position or in areas they struggle at. To be honest he was so bad, it almost seemed deliberate as though his wife wanted to spend Winter in Spain or somewhere hot

And Ruben told her “don’t worry, I’ll try to get the sack, receive a big payoff, then we can go on that long holiday I promised”..

Err there is one just down the road infact they would also have a beem back in Hillsborough Park to accommodate the thousands that couldn't get tickets, they only need a billionaire owner apparently.

The standing rails are lovely. Lack of groin space to squeeze past though. And more difficult to climb up or down rows. They do make more stand up, but as I've said for ages, standing areas aren't a fix all. The problem is much deeper

The standing rails are lovely. Lack of groin space to squeeze past though. And more difficult to climb up or down rows. They do make more stand up, but as I've said for ages, standing areas aren't a fix all. The problem is much deeper

But you would have thought a lot more ST would have moved there if the demand for standing was so high? There were at keast 500-800 gaps. Maybe they overestimated the desire for it? If we can't sell 3,000 safe standing tickets, then it probably confirms that not as many are so desperate for it. That surprised me as thought it would be packed.
